I like seeing martial start but I worry the 3 behind him have opposing ideas. Rooney wants to spread it wide, Depay and mata want to come inside. Hopefully they can make it work thiugh.

I know. This is why it baffles me as to why we didn't get the Pedro deal wrapped up. However, I do think that the way Martial plays (i.e. peels out wide) will balance out our play a bit more, as Mata cuts in quite often.

Rooney's instinct to spread it out wide will be interesting to watch. He's going to find neither Mata nor Darmian at the end of them crosses.
