    In that case, rather than a line-up, I think we should seriously consider trying to convince Southampton that it's a 3pm kick off at Old Trafford.

    We've got enough fans on twitter, etc. to spread the misinformation.

    3 points in the bag without breaking a sweat.

    That would make it four points from four games, which is still significantly worse than “meh” - it’s relegation form.

    It’s a good point, yeah once again I’m curious to see what they do with Ugarte. If they start him definitely no Casemiro for me. I was thinking about Collyer, but I’ve also heard a lot were happy with Casemiro for the first two games. I’d rather see a younger player in sooner but this game is also a do or die game for ten hag (according to the click baiters). I think it’s the safer bet to go with Collyer.

    Went with the same line up as Liverpool but with Amad on the right. Don’t think we’ll see Ugarte starting due to all ETH has said. Hopefully he gets 20 mins or so at least.
    Going for 1-2 to Utd. Think it’ll be a hard game - Southampton actually play some good football.
     
    It would be interesting if EtH actually changes things around a bit, perhaps go with Rashford centrally and Garna and Amad on the flanks, start Ugarte alongside Mainoo, or start Collyer alongside Mainoo.
     
    We win if we play our obvious best 11 and that includes ugarte for the first 70 minutes. If rashford and Casemiro start, we are screwed.
     
    Really want a win here if not to only shut all the negative posters up for a few days, every single thread is full of whinging it’s tiring.

    A loss and a Ten Hag sacking will make that happen far quicker than a slow death over the coming months.

    Rashford centrally is my absolute least favourite thing.

    Can you really blame people? Season after season we’ve had to put up with this crap. Starting seasons badly and trailing teams already. We’ve spent more than anyone except maybe Chelsea so there’s no excuse as to why we’re playing so bad.
     
    Ugarte only joined the team this week right? I doubt he'll start

    This is great. I love reading about foot. I never quite mustered the courage to utter the name of the scary, bouncy round thing. I was like that in my playing days; I’d scream ‘please don’t pass me the’. But still, I’m hoping to see the strike the back of the Southampton net on multiple occasions this lunch. (I was also clock averse)

    Newbie @Guapa, support the team, support the manager. It’s the fourth game of the season. If we turn into the invincibles in 2026 the times when we supported them in adversity will be those we cherish most of all.

    I think they might be a good opponent for us. They insist on playing through the press, but they don't have the players to do it at this level. I'm expecting United to create a lot of chances from high regains. Saints also look really vulnerable on the break. Unless they adopt a more pragmatic approach to some games, they are going down. Overall, their weaknesses play into our strengths and I fancy us to score a few goals today.

    Missing todays game as currently in Germany for cousins wedding. Personally thankful for it especially after the shit show in the last game before the international break against Liverpool. Hoping we get the win.

    That's going to happen when your players lack the ability to play the ball forward. They haven't looked at all a threatening side in any of their games so far.
