At this point I'm hesitant to slate Sancho too much. He's always been someone who thrives when he has players running off of him, and literally none of our players bar Eriksen have been intelligent enough to do that.

Cagey half of football, the opportunity on 19th minute with United having 3 bites at the cherry was more poor finishing than great defending.Thought we were good defensively and made some good chances. Don’t know how we didn’t score. Pretty pleased with this half but I’d probably take off one of Elanga or Rashford at half time.Eriksen our best player easily. Think Malacia has been good too. That's about it. Front four nonexistent. Particularly Rashford, Bruno and Elanga, who is not Premier League level. Fairly obvious we need Antony, a CF and another midfielder.Bruno refused to run with the ball, the bit around the 40th minute where he had acres of space and just made an aimless cross encapsulates all of his flaws.Credit to Southampton defence, for being inexperienced they are playing very well
Naw it’s better than that, just bad attackers..Bruno is really crap, I was waiting for Eriksen to take the freekick but he has to take it. Sancho is not suited to EPL, he is not fast to get away from his marker. I would like to see Garnacho is the 2nd half.Saying that I’d also give Garnacho a go. Elanga off for Ronaldo, swap positions with Rashford, Bruno off for Casemiro. GGRonaldo has to come on. Southampton are defending deep when we have possession. Need a moment of brilliance.
Liverpool play high line and Southampton don't. Easy to see why Elanga is only useful when there is more space as all be has is paceGet Elanga off ffs. It’s painful. It feels like he has lost possession every time he’s had the ball. Not beaten his man once.

Elanga is a hard worker but he doesn't provide any sort of threat. We need subs at half time.Bit too slow in possession and haven't created enough despite having the best chance of the match but looking pretty solid defensively. Casemiro and Ronaldo on soon hopefully.
Think he's been generally alright. Definitely upgradeable, but I don't think he was awful.

Good for the Olympics athletics team.Pretty meh half but we really had to score from that chance where Elanga and Eriksen (he was in best position) took a shot.
If we change Rw we will be a lot betterTeam performance hasn't been half bad considering we have at least 4 passengers in Bruno, Elanga, McTominay, and even Rashford(who wasn't that bad as those 3 but stilk hasn't offered much).
Eriksen and Sancho best for me, Malacia and CBs decent too.
I would bring Casemiro for Mctominay on half time, and later Ronaldo for Elanga plus Fred for Bruno.McT off, Casemiro on. Bruno off, Fred on. Elanga off, Garnacho on. All at HT. Eriksen moves to Bruno's position. If things do not get better by 70th minute, sub Rashy for VdB.Been very slow when in possession. Bruno seems to think he has all the time in the world when he’s on the ball.Also, the pitch is in horrible conditionOur front 3 are really bad. Rashford & Elanga should not be starting games like this for us. Ask yourself that if Elanga was playing for another club then would he be someone we would be looking to sign and the answer is no chanceWe don't have anyone resembling a striker out there and our midfield isn't working at all. I'd be tempted to bring on both Casemiro and Fred to try to get some control in the game and Ronaldo to spearhead the attack.
