Solid defensively which is a big plus. Not offered that much going forward apart from that one great chance which someone really should have buried.

Elanga is really not the one. We need Antony or someone in to take that spot.

Get Bruno off for Casemiro, put Eriksen in Bruno's position and we would be much better off. This has gone on for too long to say it's just a dip in form for Bruno. Offering us nothing, misplacing simple passes.

Elanga is so poor today and Sancho needs to cut his habit of holding on to the ball to much. I hope we get to see Ronaldo instead of Elanga in second half.

Tough half. Southampton slightly edged it. Adams giving us a few issues with his movement, and generally their quick CBs are handling our forward line well. In build up we're a bit ponderous.

That was dross. We look like a Div 2 team. No movement off the ball, no patterns of play.
Erickson too deep, he needs to be the one we find with passes, not the one making them from deep.
Rashford is a ghost. Sancho slows down the play from the left. Bruno is wasteful.

Not enough urgency. Pitch being so shit doesn't help. Not sure why it's slow and so bumpy. Nothing special about this Southampton team except they'll be good at set pieces. Bruno needs to sharpen up again. Rashford quiet. Elanga very poor.
