His movement is a joy to watch, I hope Tony is watching! And such passion, he's an old school striker that's desperate to score.I cannot wait for Cavani to come back fully fit tbh.

He's good at organising quizzesAnother week passes and once more I wonder what's the point of DVB
Happy! How would top reds feel if we win 2-1 but with Martial & Pogba scoring the goals?
Wasn't he a slight doubt before the Leeds game, so everyone was surprised he started? Maybe he doesn't want to risk him. Hadn't seen Ole pre-match comments so it appear it is the case. Why drop McT? This is the kind of high energy game that suits him.
We probably wouldnt have gotten there anyway if the likes if James or Van de Beek/Mata had to replace them.

I don't bet. For what its worth I think gambling adverts should be banned. I get personal choice, but at the same time, its constantly rammed down our throats, easy af to do, and it destroys many peoples lives/their families.
But, Fantasy Football points and that hahaha
The ole hierarchy are well defined, it could seem impossible, but Sancho and Varane will struggle to get in the first 11 for the next 2/3 months

Exactly why I miss him. How I wish him we bought after he left NapoliHis movement is a joy to watch, I hope Tony is watching! And such passion, he's an old school striker that's desperate to score.
This.Another week passes and once more I wonder what's the point of DVB
Wouldn't say he's old school at all. He fits the modern striker mould better than most; drops deep, does the defensive work at set pieces, brings others into play, sharp movement in the box.His movement is a joy to watch, I hope Tony is watching! This is exactly what it is. Lindelof was excellent against Leeds and will remain in until a bad game. Greenwood and Martial, if they play well, will keep their spots. They're all good players with consistency issues, and Sancho and Varane will come in eventually, it's just one of those that we have options in those areas anyway, and the shortened pre seasons and being new signings, so they don't walk in.If I'm Ole, I tell Lindelof, Matic, Martial, other players on the edge of the first team, "here's your game time, force me to pick you again with your play!" As others have said, we should have enough to beat Southampton.
He isn't injured, just doing the final prep of training. At his age, his work has to be managedIs Cavani injured does anyone know?
We have to have at least one dutch player at all times, as a good luck.Another week passes and once more I wonder what's the point of DVB
Literally just said that him and Varane are nearly there, they just need a bit more fitnessHas Ole said anything about Sancho pre match? How unfit can he be not to start , it has been a while.
Agreed!State of some of these posts.
Everyone wants James out the line up, Martial comes in, the much superior player, and everyone goes mad. One bad season doesn’t make him worthless and I can’t wait till he shows that.
Yeah but not for the sake of it. And especially not if the depth dont really provide depth. James and Mata etc aren't depth, they are of almost no use at all. It's pointless trying to be clever, get the players with quality to gel ASAP. It isnt like we won every match with ease last season.so you understand having depth of quality and keeping them on form is important then?
I think VDB was bought to replace Paul, and we would have sold him this summer before the pandemic threw the market into chaos. Though I think PSG are telling players to run down their contacts, and that has scuppered our plan.
Tony Martial, Came from FranceCome on Tony
That's what I meant, I feel like strikers aren't as well rounded these days. But mostly I meant how desperate his is to score, seems to me very few players have that passion these days.Wouldn't say he's old school at all. He fits the modern striker mould better than most; drops deep, does the defensive work at set pieces, brings others into play, sharp movement in the box.
Just a complete striker
Reverse jinx?
VDB's best position is more where Bruno played last week; further up in the front 3. He's never going to be a Pogba replacementNo one in their right mind would replace Paul Pogba with Van De Beek.
No offence to the lad but the difference in quality is insane.
If he was good enough to replace him we'd just play him instead.
No Sarane
Waiting for them to play together...
10 billion years later
Any minute now
Glass half full kind of guy I see?I have a bad feeling Varane will "flop" here like Schweinsteiger did. He will be fine, but not a huge upgrade on Lindelof. PL will not suit him.
