    McTominay was one of the better players last week, not sure why he was dropped.

    Also, this is a big game for Martial. Hope he can show some great form

    I hate players getting off to slow starts for us. Seems to prolong over the full season. Makes no sense either when you look at other clubs signings all playing.
     
    Spend a year chasing a player then spend 80 mill on him and put him on the bench I'm just pissed off because I got Sancho in my fpl team hehe.
     
    Really should be beating these quite comfortably. Surprised McTominay isn't playing and a little disappointed not to see Sancho, but still confident we'll do these

    Good line up. I'm glad Ole didn't go too safe with the McFred midfield.

    People whining for the 2 new signings not starting yet despite having joined the squad very late are a funny bunch to me.
     
    Cafe asking why Martial is starting like it isnt obvious Ole prefers him to Greenwood as striker?
     
    The lineup makes sense, Ole wants to start both Varane and Sancho in our next home game to give them a bit of a boost in confidence.

    I can see Sancho replacing Martial around the 60th min mark. Really not understanding the meltdown, but I guess it's what we do.
     
    I don't think it's that bad. Matic is a surprise inclusion but with Pogba in the team it could be a fluid shape.

    Why is it ridiculous? There was absolutely no reason Sancho shouldn’t have started today. Why sign him if we aren’t going to use him?

    Why is it? Lukaku is starting this afternoon already. No bedding time for training or match fitness. Grealish was there like two minutes, got on in the community shield and then immediately started the next two games. Clearly this isn't a normative.

    Very true.

    I would have understood if Ole was throwing James in there (especially after his poor performance against Leed) but that's not the case. We're loaded and Ole picked a strong side.

    Has to be match fitness, I can’t see any other reason. I’m not keen on that lineup at all :lol:
     
    Not a huge surprise, was guessing it would be just one of Martial or Sancho in. Varane I wouldn't expect a start until after the international break tbh, Sancho is probably right around starting, figured this week or next.
     
    I'm supposed to be at this game but got Covid on Thursday and now reading terrible WUM's in here unable to have a drink.

    In the second game of the season? At this point we need our probable starters to continue building up match fitness and forming an understanding with each other. A bit too much tweaking already for my liking.
