    Rojo has confidence. Prefer him over Blind and Darmian at left back. Young to come on there if we need something more in attack.

    That squad might be the death knell for Darmian and Shaw. Mourinho has tasked United scouts with monitoring a prospective full-back signing in the summer and the Italian and England international appear to have bleak futures at United.

    Both might relish moves away, too. Darmian won’t be short of suitors in Italy and Shaw, for his own self-esteem, could probably do with heading back down south.
     
    I don't mind Lingard starting as long as it's not with Mkhi in the team. He loves to cockblock the central areas of space Mkhi operates in.

    Hope Lingard has a great game and scores. If he does it doesn't mean all those other average/crap games he's had leading up to this didn't happen.
     
    Pretty attacking from Southampton. Worried about Rojo vs Tadic or Redmond given how tricky/pacy they are. Guaranteed yellow, let's just hope it's not early.
     
    I am one of the poster who is highly critical of Lingard and don't find him useful even as a Squad player put objectively speaking he is no worse than Rashford when they both start the game but Rashford is slightly better when he comes as a sub so Mourinho's thinking is bit understandable if he intends to play 4231 formation as we seem to have employed in past few matches with Rashford to come as sub later .
     
    Thought he'd go with Fellaini over Lingard. Like most I though Blind was now the left back of choice.

    Shaw out of the 18 is probably the right decision for the day. No charity here.
     
    Gabbiadini and Redmond will be a handful. Their bench isnt too bad either, some good players on there. Their CBs look weak though
     
    Not too keen on Rojo at lb. Hopefully no carrick will go ok, happy enough to see Jesse start, he loves Wembley.

    Worried about the relative lack of pace on the bench (I guess I'm thinking of them bringing on Long) so hopefully we don't have to chase the game.

    Will be interesting to see if it's Lingard or Mata at #10. Lingard needs to perform, he's been poor recently.

    Would've preferred Blind at LB. I never like seeing Rojo play there.
