I think a lot of players would struggle with that pass, yes. Licha probably deals with it because he's elite on the ball. Lindelof might well do as well. Varane would struggle with it a lot more than people are making out.
Heck, Eriksen fecking had the same pass played to him against Brentford with the same outcome.

I saw the first leg on MUTV the other day. We were really poor and should have lost by three or four. That midfield ripped us apart.
We know that Maguire is too shit to do that. I'm not completely absolving Maguire of blame here but De Gea should know better than to make that pass there. And that lumbering oaf decides to casually pass it to AWB instead of trying to clear it. Shocking lack of awareness from both.So far this is up there for worst team performance this season.
