    Would have preferred Romero in goal and Matic for Fred but other as expected.
     
    Fred... big, big call. Now we all sit here praying that he suddenly transforms into Gilberto Silva.

    I'd be lying if I said I was confident. Any kind of win will do for me.

    Very happy for Fred - great vote of confidence for him and hope he does justice to faith placed in him.

    I was also going to pick him in my XI, bit though OGS would remain stubborn and pick Matic.
     
    De Gea must have something in his contract to play semi's! He started against City x2 and Chelsea. Can't see why we would drop Romero who won this with us already and normally starts in the Europa.

    Nervous for Fred, was expecting Matic, but would still be good to have someone like him come off the bench later on.
    Big call with De Gea in the sticks, really really hope he puts a performance in, better yet, hopefully our defense gives him very little work to do.
     
    Surprised to see Fred in for Matic. But other than that, no surprises. Massive game in helping to define our season. I'd love to win this trophy as a solid start for this group hopefully. Looking forward to it, though getting nervous now
     
    Bit worried about Fred and the high press tbh. He'll get caught out at least once. Fingers crossed we don't get punished.

    Fred tends to need a few games in a row to get going. Hopefully we’ll see a better performance tonight.

    Need to trust Ole knows why he made those calls. Hopefully it will all be justified in the end. See you at the final whistle and everywhere in-between.
     
    It’s game over for De Gea as first choice if he fecks up tonight.

    I hope he realises this and gives himself a few slaps beforehand, or asks Juan to.

    Probably a tag team choice: Fred will be instructed to run himself into the ground, and then get subbed with fresh Matic @ 65 mins.

    Aye, little concerning but i'm guessing we've gone with Fred because he's fresh and will have the legs to press. Besides Matic coming off the bench last game worked well.

    I'm pretty confident tonight Carl, but our options on the bench are extremely limited so we'll need to win as usual with out first eleven.

    I want revenge, I want us to batter them.

    I hope we start fast and score early or something to ease the tension a little bit.
     
    As expected. Think Fred is needed for the energy over Matic so would say that is a good call. The worry comes with the subs when we inevitably tire and even more so if we need to get back into the game.
     
    Dissapointed Romero doesn’t start

    Also thinking we should have sacrificed a striker for another central midfielder to shackle Banega.

    I‘m a little worried about Fred getting the runaround tonight.
