    We will have to play far better than against Copenhagen to beat Sevilla. Let's hope the team are fully motivated for this; it's a very tough game. I thought Matic might start ahead of Fred, and it's harsh on Romero. Other than that, it's probably what most of us expected. We need intensity right from the start.

    I was really unimpressed with Fred in the deep midfield role. He wasn't screening the defense or giving Pogba and Bruno the confidence to go forward. I know Matic isn't very mobile these days though. What's happened to Scott McTominay?
     
    Romero looked really funny in his last game, I wouldn't exactly call him flawless. This could be De Gea's last chance, screw up again and Deano will get the nod at the start of the season.
     
    we cant see what has been happening in Training but that Fred over Matic is quite something
     
    Not sure about Frederic in midfield again. I’d have gone for Matic.
     
    Very attacking line up, just hopeful we don't let them dominate possession in the middle
     
    Damn I really wanted matic for this. Fred tends to do well against pressing teams so I’m okay still.
     
    DdG audition for next year.
    Screw up and Henderson will be no 1 with Romero as back up and De Gea gone.
    Have a belter tonight and in the final and he will stay to fight out no 1 with Deano and Romero gone.

    I think Fred is very very far from press resistant. He takes too many touches and too much time on the ball. He is the weak link in the midfield. Hopefully it won't matter.
     
    With DDG back in goal I presume that means we are expecting no penos and Sevilla is bad at corners?

    Also seems like a lot of pressure for this game for Dave - playing against a Spanish team and with Real and Barca out of Europe all Spanish eyes must be on him to see if he s ever worthy again to be the no. 1 for the national team.
     
    It's a European semi-final against top opposition and DDG is our first-choice GK. Of course he's starting. We're not managing the squad at this point, we're trying to win a trophy.
     
    Am confused by the Fred inclusion as I felt he contributed to the poor first half performance in the last match. Hoping for the best!

    At least it looks like we're going to try and inflict our game on the opposition, but I don't know if that's the right move considering our current form.
     
    De Gea has to play better than against Chelsea. Other than that, I’m fine with the team. Matic would have been really shite against this energetic Sevilla team.

    Having said that, just like what I was moaning about before the Copenhagen game, I’d rather McTominay start.

    Its nlt the best on the eye but hes very good at getting the ball away in crowded situations.
    He has fantastic spells at Anfield and Etihad when doing this. He almost forced Liverpool into a defensive mindset during the last 20 nins there jusy by evading thebpress and running with the ball into space
     
    I would think Romero could have played his last match for United.
