This is the worst first half in the history of the club. Are these players professionals? Vast majority of them can’t even control the ball with a first touch.

Matic needs to take a hard look at himself. He wins the ball and then gives it back to the opponents. His understanding of the game is atrocious.

This should be Smalling’s last match at this club. He has no organization at all. He doesn’t even look around to be aware of the danger around him. Chris Smalling is a joke.

The compactness in our midfield has gone. Last season, it was a lot more difficult to try and run through the centre against us but this season we seem to be very vulnerable through the middle in some games. McTominay and Matic were doing a good job together on N'Zonzi and Banega. Don't know if the Herrera substitution has changed those roles for them or not.

Other than that last few minutes, there wasn’t any real danger.

Fully expected this kind of approach. Sanchez needs to get on the ball more, he’s drifting inside just to be involved.

I’d prefer it if we got on the scoresheet. 0-0 is fraught with second leg danger.

Woeful from Lindelof that half, smalling can atleast defend a bit. Lindelof should have been at Boro. The game plan went out of the window with herrera injury, need a tactical reshuffle and probably a new defense.
They are overloading the right side of our defense stretching it and having an extra man there always. I know they are up for it, but this is very poor from us.
