We are supposed to be taking the game to Sevilla not holding on for dear life ffs. What is this? How are we going to get through if we can't score? 0-0 is a shite result so we better have some answers in the second half because that was a complete shitshow.
Its not really tho is it?

That is the epitome of an absolute sitter. Montella should be going spare at that lad in the dressing room.

Agree to a large extent, he put it in about the only place DDG had a chance of saving it

    Still a sensational stop, mind

I'm sorry to say this, but feck Mourinho for this. It's absolutely disgraceful, he is responsible for all this bullshit going on the pitch.

Rant before the match, rant during Ht, I’m sure you will rant after the match even if we win.

Our passing is atrocious and we're unable to exert any control on the game.

Sanchez and Mata are dropping deep to try and help us keep the ball, but it's not working and is leaving Lukaku isolated (not much point in hoofing balls to him if there's nobody near enough to capitalise on the knock-downs).

Lucky not to be behind, but luck only lasts so long...

What a load of cr@p, don’t know why Jose bothered putting on any attackers when he has no intention of attacking or winning. Definitely going for a 0-0, saw it with his selection.

Whilst we've been shit....remember alot of our away performances under SAF...we got overun consistently
Ferguson earned the right to have a boring game here and there. With Jose practically every match is dull as feck

It seems that sanchez is the only player with a calm head, the rest are like headless chickens. Pogba doesn't seem interested to me but will give him another half before making judgement.

Most of our better days under Jose have still had shite first halfs. Could still turn out to be a decent night...

I really amuses me when people on here claim our defence is one of the best because we don’t concede a lot.......David DeGea
Yeah I think we concede the 6th most shots on target in the PL this season. City, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal are all in the bottom 5.

It looks like some random people are playing together for the first time. No shape , No formation. Hard to see what the point of a manager is.

Well unsurprisingly the 4-3-3 hasn't made us any better, the footballs not been great and we have nobody to retain the ball.
I reckon/hope we'll pick up in the second half though. I'd put Mata in the middle for one of our midfielders and bring Martial or Rashford on for some extra speed to beat their press.

Matic and Mctominay is an absolute shit shower of a midfield.

I'm starting to think Pogba is a bust. He's like Iniesta without the heart of Iniesta. He has all these pretty moves and no impact with them.

This is the worst first half in the history of the club. Are these players professionals? Vast majority of them can’t even control the ball with a first touch.

Matic needs to take a hard look at himself. He wins the ball and then gives it back to the opponents. His understanding of the game is atrocious.

This should be Smalling’s last match at this club. He has no organization at all. He doesn’t even look around to be aware of the danger around him. Chris Smalling is a joke.
    Wow

We are gak. Same old story. Sanchez has already peaked and hasn’t done anything this season with us or arsenal and now he’s the higest paid player in the league and with us for the next four years all while we needed a right winger. Lukaku wouldn’t finish his dinner. DDG is reaching his peak. That’s what happens when you make smart young signings. They come good eventually. We just seem to sign the big expensive players the likes of Madrid don’t actually want instead of making smart signings and trying to improve our football style season after season. Ugh. So disappointing watching that.

It looks like some random people are playing together for the first time. No shape , No formation. Hard to see what the point of a manager is.
It looks like that every game we play, we are not a team at all. It's just rely on individuals and hope they can skill us through a game.

I thought Mourinho would kick us on, but this is as far as we can go with him.

Was kind of expecting this. Seville are a decent team at home. Hopefully we can keep it at 0-0.

Why... it's only prolonging the inevitable knock out .
Once we meet a decent side we'll be stuffed.
If rather lose to this than play Spurs or Liverpool next and lose.

They've only had one clear cut chance, though right?

    Yes, I'm clutching

Anyone would think we used to smack teams around in the CL or something. Y'all med to calm the fcuk down. So far so good, got lucky. Pinch a goal hopefully but, keep a clean sheet and we'll be fine

Just watch that replay for the last chance Sevilla had where De Gea had a quick reflex save.

Look at Pogba and Matic's positioning. Matic has slotted into the defensive line, effectively making it a back 5. McTominay is getting in around the box and Pogba is just about trying to make a challenge. I think that is what is frustrating Mourinho -- Pogba is just too nonchalant in closing down the oppo in our own box. He is playing as a midfielder. He should be getting there quicker but the intensity is off.

Not sorry to be that hater, but these games just add fuel to the fire of Mourinho not being the right man for the job.

I subscribed to that belief some time ago now and I was an ardent supporter of his in the beginning.

I honestly thought he might change his ways, even if only slightly, to accommodate for Uniteds attacking tradition.

The football and tactics have been abysmal. No pressing/forcing errors, constant hoof ball, players out of position. Honestly can’t believe we’re still doing this almost 5 years down the line from Ferguson. I’m genuinely gobsmacked.

Dave saves yet again after we got battered towards the end. To be honest Muriel should’ve scored.

Its a boring ass game with a lot of running. All of our attacks are being broken up with the exception of long balls towards Lukaku.

Um, we've been poor but why are people treating Sevilla as some kind of pub team? They are a really good side who rarely lose at home. We played like this under SAF in Europe soo many times. A draw would be a good result for us here.

People are deluded if they think our problems are due to Mourinho. Just look at what our players are doing on the pitch. It's not the managers fault we can't string two passes together. We don't have any business mixing it up with the top teams in CL with this team.
It is 100% Mourinhos fault. Do you think constantly drilling into your squad how to nullify their opponents rather than play to their strengths allows them to be confident and expansive on the ball?

He buys one of the best attacking midfielders in Pogba for 89 million and then drops him as he doesn't defend well enough. Its ridiculous.

We would be a MUCH better team with an attacking coach, I think thats obvious for most people to see.
