There is no reasonable/alternative candidate available to replace LVG. He will be with us for the next 3 years unless we finish out of the top 4 (in the league).
We cant keep sacking managers every year (even if they are in 3rd place in the league) - this approach will not work. Even the most cynical Man Utd supporter knows that.
There are of course some young fans, who have little/no patience, who expect us to win everything, every year - so they may expect a sacking on a yearly basis. As they grow older and wiser, they will think differently.
If LVG goes, realistically, he can only be replaced by Mourinho, Guardiola or Ancelotti. Would prefer Mata in starting as well, no idea why he's been dropped recently. If there are a few players you want playing against lower league opposition, it is the really talented ones like Herrera and Mata. Both have looked a class above as they should against lower teams so far this season.
