No Garner?

No Garner?
While that is true, a team going through after losing the home leg 2-0 in the Champions League/European Cup occurred three times between 1979 and 2008. That's not really countless, it's very easy to count it.I'm happy to see that a lot of United fans see this game how it is. What really annoys me though is so many writing us off, given it's only a 2 goal difference.
I know our squad is that depleted but as cliché as it is, unexpected series of events have occurred countless times in football, especially in Europe. If it was a 3 or 4 goal margin then I would be not even considering the forementioned 'upset'.
If they dont take the piss and we don't go for it then I won't criticise Ole. If they do then I'll just convince myself that we were never good enough anyway to win a CL but also remember we are unbeaten in the league under new management.

Understatement of the century.Thanks.
We are a bit short in midfield. He's the 1st option off the bench for that position

Jesus that is threadbare!
It's what we have left. It will just be nice if some of the kids get some minutes in the CL. Great to see us integrating the kids into the squad. Which is what Manchester United do, not just go out and buy an complete second team. Nobody could predict us getting this many injuries. We try to do things the right way.Whoa.. Sounds like a b-team we're fielding.
Sounds a lot like the attacking-part will be:
Pereira - McTominay - Fred
Dalot - Lukaku - Rashford
No way we'll win with that team. Looks very incoherent.
Might be a good time to throw a couple young players in at the deep end and see how they cope
If we concede an early goal, think he will throw three of the kids on and just tell them to enjoy their chance. Not going to happen.

Exactly. The Arsenal game would be the priority at that stage.Sounds like there'll be good opportunities for subs. If PSG scores first, just start throwing in youngsters at halftime.

Average age of the squad?
Yes we need three now anyway. I just cannot see that midfield holding up too well against an world class midfield that they have. Why 1 goal for them changes nothing, we'd still need 3 as we do now
Well considering the game isn't today, maybe you'll feel more optimistic tomorrow?I want Ole to get the job but unfortunately I feel pessimistic for the game today. I expect a 4-0 loss.
Hope Young doesn't start. We've literally nothing to lose - just let the youngsters gain some valuable experience.
