When is Onana storming out of AFCON going to break?

Needs to be quick so he can start this one

I'm certain it's from the Newport County supporters as every single "bloke" and "lass" i've encountered on these forums has been nothing but a kind upstanding individual...
Yeah, don’t worry it is. They made their supporters trust members queue to get their tickets, and this was last week in sub zero temperatures. Service was painfully slow, so people were queuing all day, and they never actually closed the queue, despite knowing they wouldn’t serve everyone, but did promptly close the ticket office at their closing time. This angered lots who had been queuing for hours on end, especially as they did nothing to prioritise those who had already queued for hours, they were just told come back tomorrow.

It is a pisstake the way fans are treated by clubs. In no other industry would you get away with mugging off your paying members like that.

Still, don't let that get in the way of slagging off your own fanbase @USREDEVIL

While working today I had TalkSport on and it was very odd the Newport chairman kept referring to this game as being played tomorrow.

fitness permitting would just go with garnacho left, amad right. Hojlund up top but bring him off hopefully after game is secured since rest of season is pretty much just him up top. Should be enough to see this game out relatively quickly

Probably the only thing I want to see for this game is a start for Amad, to give him some game time. Should be a routine win regardless so might as well give time to a young guy who hasn't had much of it

I’m looking forward to this, it’s nice to go into a game expecting to win for a change

There's no doubt in my mind we've the ability to lose this. An early goal against, big atmosphere, small stadium, week mentality.

On the other hand, I'd say we'll win 2-0

Have we ever lost to a league 2 team? Not in my memory.

We lost to York who were at the bottom of league one 3-0 under Fergie.

I remember losing to Southend too, not sure what league they were in. Ten Hag has broken some unwanted records. I'd assume he'll put out a strong team because it's the only thing we can win.

    Didn‘t we lose to…. um …. MKdons. 4-0. Anderson‘s last game possibly.

Hoping we go pretty much full team.

The front 3 for me has to be Amado Garnacho Hojlund. Want to see them together

    2-0 uninspiring win

Own goal and Bruno off the bench

Yeah, though MK Dons were League One that season, and actually got promoted to the Championship at the end of it, with the likes of Dele Alli, Benik Afobe and Will Grigg racking up plenty of goals (and assists). LVG really underrated them with that team selection.

I agree with some others, though, that we also can't afford to underrate Newport with an unnecessary weakened selection. They've pushed quite a good few PL clubs close, and beaten some, in recent years, and we're in no fit state to take any opponent lightly.

In terms of selection, I just want us to treat this the same as all the upcoming PL matches. I'd like to see Amad get some game time, as a sub or starter, but that's because I also want him to be in the matchday squads for the rest of the season as well.

Think we lost to Carlisle once upon a time. Peter Beardsley scored a.goal but I can’t remember which Cup we were playing, probably League Cup.

A good warm up game before the second half of the season starts. Hoping we go strong.

    2:0 win.

That 1-0 loss to Southend was a proper mad one.
Have a friend from uni who's a Southend fan - they've got a 100% record against us because of that night, I wonder when (or whether) we ever get a chance to put that right...

First game we play in about 12 weeks, and it overlaps almost entirely with the final of the European Championships in handball.
