Mata has completely ruined the shape of the team, I knew it would the minute I saw he was playing right wing.

With Pogba now our number 10 we don’t need Mata constantly drifting into central midfield. The sooner we get a proper right winger the better.

For now I’d stick Sanchez on at half time.

We're still playing some decent stuff and look dangerous in attack. It's just a handful of really crap players (Valencia, Mata, and Jones) who are letting us down

Tough game, they're up to it and our right side is fecking us up, they're predicting all the attacks from the left which is killing us.

Shouldn't worry though. We have too much quality on the bench to not win this.

Valencia looks like a player coming back after a long time off the pitch, to be honest. I'd give him more time before pinning the lack of threat on him.

Mata has been brilliant with his linkup play, and is meant to drift in from the right. Newcastle have defended well here, and we haven't found the killer ball.

A stricter ref could have sent off Lascelles and given us more set pieces. FSW having his usual cup final against us today, again.

Mata is doing well imo but he can't play there with Valencia who offers very little.
I'd either give Sanchez or Lingard a go in the second half or get a bit creative and just put an attacker at right back.
