If we play like we did against Burnley we will need to score more than once. Any team that can counter will create chances against us, just look at Newcastle. Against Burnley there were times where they literally had an entire half of space to run into unopposed. If we do that against Wolves we will be in trouble. 424 with your defence not high up is suicidal. They have to move up to prevent the space. But for that you need fast center backs to cover the runs in behind. Not Maguire.We'll need to be miles better than last night to get anything in this. I can see a draw.
You are correct.I would like to see a variation of the 4-2-2-2 by dropping one of the strikers for Bruno.Why put Fred back in he's been useless. Matic can play the cdm role if he can't play 2 games in 4 days then there really is something wrong with him. McTom looks a better player without him as well. I would chsnge WB for dalot and leave the rest of the team how it is

Matic cannot play obviously and i reckon McT will start since he was big for us last game (a one off but ok). I cannot decide if we should go with Dalot or AWB. Need more offensive against these lot but both Jimenez and Traore are a damn handful. Keep Ronaldo in, he's going to score for sure based on all the misses last game. Got to.

What can i say, I'm an AWB sympathizer.Would take a last minute deflection like last season.

We have a habit of making ordinary teams look great and helping them break season records.
Watford is the best example. I doubt they'll score 4 goals against any team this season.Any news on which players from Wolves tested positive for Covid and if they are back. Heard it was 6 first teamers but no idea if they are back, if not it will really hurt them.Absolute must win. Gutted that Spurs got that goal at the end today. We must respond with a good performance to start building some monentum. We should beat these guys quite comfortably.The squad is so low on confidence every match is going to be a grind for a while.
If we can just accept performances might not be what we all want for the next month or two, then the matches become a little more enjoyable.
Any opposition will be a challenge, but Ralf is undefeated in 4 league games, if that can get closer to double figures I believe the team will start to play more freely.

Yeah, it's frustrating that the only 'good' score was City getting an injury time winner v 10 men. Shitty day when that's the only positive to take out of the PL games.
The Tottenham injury time goal was gutting, and the West Ham 1st half was infuriating how they somehow ended it 3-0 up. The late goals gave a tiny bit of hope but the damage had been done.It's tough to guess with 3 games in 8 days, possible after effects of covid on some, can Cavani cope with Thursday / Monday, etc.
I imagine we'll see a few more tweaks, and maybe Greenwood - who's started the other two - may be on the bench. And that Cavani won't be risked two starts in 3 days...
