City and Arsenal have given us countless chances to close the gap or even go above them... but we've fecked up every time
Excactly, every time we have the chance to get closer we feck up against the likes of West Bromwich, Swansea or Stoke. Don't want to start about the leads we had but still were not able to win these games like against Chelsea. Those draws costed us to many points also.

As it will probably get lost in the mix come match time, let me get this out in advance...

Christ, another flat performance. Have we even had a shot yet? Just sack him already, I can't take another 2 months of this shit!

Shit, forgot to submit my line up

I take it my previous prediction doesn't carry to this?

I've looked at the stats and I have put MUFC as slight favourites.
    I predicted 2-1 to MUFC.

Oh and AFC are currently losing, so if we beat WHU, we could be favourites to win the FA Cup (as bizarre as that may sound).

This game has suddenly become even more important because of the events at the Emirates. LVG won't have a better chance of winning some silverware with us.

I hope United are watching this.

This is our best opportuntiy to win the FA cup in a LONG time.

    Potential semi final teams:

    Manchester United
    Everton
    Crystal Palace
    Watford.

Come on United... DON'T F*CK THIS UP

We haven't lost to any of those teams this season as well with LvG, and last season only lost once to everton... Just need to not feck this up

Any other year and we would have walked it, now I can see us feasibly losing to any of those other 3 teams.

I don't even think we're favourites for today

    VAN GAAL'S STARTING XI
The boss has made three changes to his starting XI by bringing in Michael Carrick, Jesse Lingard and Ander Herrera for Juan Mata (suspended), Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin. There's also a place on the bench for young Ro-Shaun Williams.

Herrera #10, Martial left, Lingard right and Rashford up front. LVG could have picked worse. I'll take it.

Carrick Fellaini in midifeld. What the feck.

Happy with the front 3, not happy with Fellaini and Carrick starting and why is Blind not being rested?!

Herrera #10, Martial left, Lingard right and Rashford up front. LVG could have picked worse. I'll take it.
You're happy with that midifeld? It's fecking awful.

    Carrick and Fellaini:rolleyes:

Nevermind, there's a huge chance for us to get something this season so they better be up for it!

feck me, Afro again! But that line up says to me Rashford will be up top hopefully and not bloody right back.

Not too happy about the Fellaini-Carrick midfield as it's too slow and immobile. We're also over playing Rashford at this point.

Why does he keep playing Fellaini in the 2 man CM when he's been shite there every time? fecking idiot.

Arsenal look like going out, best chance since 2003 for us to win the competition, this is going to be absolutely gutting when we go out to West decking Ham. I've tried to be optimistic but can't do it to myself anymore, I have no expectation that we will progress to the semi finals.

Carrick and Fellaini in midfield is the core that saw us through that one terrible period in novemer/december I feel like. Decent enough apart from that but we all know it's not the lineups that are the main problem with LvG... Let's just hope we grind out a result, and if we lose, then hopefully he gets sacked

Fellani and Carrick. Payet will have so much fun against them. And no Perreira, ridiculous

Doesn't try anything a bit different and picks Carrick....I give up, Payet will have a field day in there against 2 statues.

Isn't Carrick/Fellaini/Herrera the midfield that actually worked last season?

It is but we seemed to play a more 'obvious' 4-3-3 and the style of football we are currently playing compared to that seems worlds apart

    THE OPPOSITION XI
West Ham: Randolph, Antonio, Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Kouyate, Noble, Emenike, Lanzini, Payet, Carroll. Subs: Adrian (GK), O'Brien, Song, Obiang, Moses, Sakho, Valencia.

Just can't feel confident about this. Bloody hell the state of us:(
