Fellaini will play every game, if fit/available.
Rooney, DDG, Smalling, Blind and Martial are probably the only other players with that status.

With Januzaj and Pereira playing for the U21's tonight I guess that rules them out of this. Fosu-Mensah was on the bench but I don't think he came on so he might have a slim chance.

I think we'll win this. Put Rashford back up top, have Martial go back to the left side and Lingard on the right. Herrera-Schneid midfield and more than likely Fellaini at 10. West ham are West ham, surely a bit of a rattle-up from within after the Liverpool loss will get us playing well in this game.

A big crossroads moment in our season.

Hopefully West Ham will prioritise the league and rest a couple. I never thought I would say that but such is our situation and West Ham's superior season that this is where we find ourselves. I wonder what difference Payet would have made to us this year if we'd shopped smarter.

Is he good at left back? Probably nothing then.

    1-2 hammers.

I just think in our current shit state they will be too much for us, plus their team are huge, the majority of them are big, tall athletic bastards. We just have a lot of small, slow brained and slow legged muppets being advised by a stubborn philosophical nut job.

I will be hugely surprised if we win...at home against West Ham, Feck me how far we have fallen!?

    We need to change... something.

Maybe Schweinsteiger can come back and make things tick a bit, but I have serious doubts. Is Valencia fit? Desperate times.

There are too many problem areas at the moment, and no real solutions. A lot of players seem knackered too. Particularly worried about Martial.

That said, we're at home where we usually don't get beat at least. Reckon we might scrape through. Hopefully no replay - we straight up would not win that.

I take it that Januzaj and Pereira playing in the reserves yesterday means they won't feature tomorrow. It's actually a joke that van Gaal continues to overlook both of them when our attacking options are already so scarce.

We haven't got one natural right winger in the entire squad. Januzaj is probably the closest we have to one, yet he doesn't even make the bench.

Mata's suspension makes this an opportune time to introduce Pereira at #10, though I'm sure he'll play a three man midfield featuring Fellaini and Carrick. It's getting tedious.

somebody explain DanNistelroy's line up prediction secrets :(:(

Don't really expect to make it though to the next round with our defense starting to perform like our attack, but there's always hope i guess.

I don't think Varela deserves to be dropped for Valencia.

We've had two sh*te performances away from home this week. Unacceptable. The Old Trafford crowd will demand a performance from United, so for that reason, I'm going for a 2-1 win for the Reds.

Given that we've returned (yet a again) to not having a meaningful shot on target, this can only go one way. Lose!
    1-0 or 2-0

1-2 West Ham. They're a good side, they play effective football with a great amount of directness. It's bizarre to almost be envious of the way they play, but that's the stage we're at, looking on in awe at West fecking Ham.

It really wouldn't be an upset if they beat us, because they are currently better than us. I don't even think that's a typical doom-and-gloom knee-jerk prediction. They've done very well against the big sides, especially away from home. Our only good cup performances this season were against Derby, an injury depleted Brugge and the 2nd leg against Midtjylland. Not confident one bit.

Yeah reckon we'll be up for this one again. Of course we'll then lose to Liverpool and City.

The players know LvG is going and they're only mentally giving that extra effort when it interests them. This limbo hasn't helped anyone.

    West Ham H
    Liverpool H
    City A
    Everton H
    Spurs A
    Villa H
    Leicester H
    Norwich A
    Bournemouth H

It's hard to see how he will survive to the Villa game. But at that point what be the point in sacking him as the season would already be dead
Of course he'll survive. He survived an atrocious December and not much has improved since then. He's here to stay for this season unfortunately.

He will be saved by a draw against Villa at OT.

I don't care about the FA Cup tbh, just saw the table and I am really pissed of with all the teams underperforming so much and we are not able to get the Top 4. It's such a shame and making me angry, look at the table lads, City and Arsenal are still so close and instead of catching them up we were overtaken by West Ham. FA Cup is not interesting, are we Arsenal or what? Would be nice to win it but not important for a Club like United imo. Should challenge for the epl title instead...

since when has the FA Cup not been interesting , some of my best matches have been in the FA Cup.
Totally disagree that the FA Cup in not important for United, winning PL is good but winning cups is equally has good.

We could lose at home to Villa and LVG would still be safe in his job. He is staying for the remainder of the season or until it's mathmatically impossible to qualify for CL football next season. I have resigned myself to that fact.

Anyway the team I would like to see is as follows:

    De Gea
    Varela-----Smalling-----Fosu-----Riley
    BFS----Herrera
    Pereira
    Rashford-----Martial-----Memphis

Wouldn't be opposed to Januzai starting ahead of either Rashers or Memphis though.

Not in my opinion. Winning the Cup won't bring you CL football and so you're not able to attract top players, who need a competition where they can show the whole world what they're capable of.

Would love a come from behind win in this to fire us up for Thursday

Pack the team with pace, skill and aggression for the next couple of games and let's show some balls

    ---------------------------------DDG---------------------
    VARELA-----SMALLING----ROJO--BLIND
    -----------------HERRERA------BASTIAN-------
    RASHFORD-----------MATA-------MEMPHIS
    -------------------------MARTIAL----------------------

get a good win in this and Old Trafford will be rocking on Thursday

totally disagree, every great player that has played in the PL want to play in a Final at Wembely
Yeah, I agree with you that it is nice to win it or to play in a final, bit it should be the first priority to play in Europe to get and hold the best players.

We have seen some great games down the years via the FA cup, but the prestige it once held is long gone. For the bigger teams it's nothing more than an inconvenience, potential to blood youth or players that are short of match fitness etc.

Nevertheless I'd love to go on and win it this season, the fans could use the lift it would bring, even though winning the damn thing might end up securing LVG for another season. Catch 22.

This might be our only route into Europe so let's give it a go. Palace in the semi and Watford in the final! (With respect to them two). Also 3 years without any silverware is unacceptable incidentally.

It's ludicrous how theyve been overlooked. I do not buy that Januzaj, Pereira and Wilson (loan) all have bad attitudes. Bullshit on that. They just havent been given a shred of the chances Memphis has been given.
