We are 3 games away from the final here, I don't think it is the right time to play our second string team, especially as we could realistically have an easy game in QFs and SFs too as there aren't many top PL teams left in the competition. It's a very real chance of winning cups vs small chance of winning the league at this point.

    I would go:

    De Gea
    Dalot - Lindelof - Martinez - Malacia
    Sabitzer - Casemiro
    Antony - Sancho - Garnacho
    Weghorst

I don't think Casemiro needs a rest yet, as he is just coming off that period of not playing in the league for three games in a row. Bruno on the other hand plays every single minute, so I would rest him as a precaution. Lindelof did really against Leicester, so should slot in easily next to Martinez. Sancho centrally might be a bit of a risk in terms of the press and defending, but he is supported by Weghorst, who works his socks off.

I mean just checking the teams left... barring a famous FA cup upset, and providing we dont get drawn against them beforehand, we must be looking towards a United/City final?

We're not going to make wholesale changes, as we've seen ETH's pattern. We've only really made wholesale changes vs Charlton in the cup and against Real Sociedad earlier this season. However, ETH has changed the entire back 4 on many occasions so I partly think it's due to the quality he has available in each position. For example, we don't have much depth in certain attacking positions.

I think Varane will be rested and think Rashford needs a rest, he's looked a little sluggish and picked up a couple of knocks recently. A couple others could do with a rest ahead of Liverpool but I wouldn't make wholesale changes.

    De Gea
    Dalot--Lindelof--Maguire--Malacia
    Casemiro--Sabitzer
    Antony--Fernandes--Sancho
    Weghorst

Bruno could do with a rest but don't think he will. If it was up to me, I'd rest Bruno and start Fred, then push Sabitzer higher up the pitch. If we're winning by 2 goals after 60, I would take Bruno off ahead of the Liverpool game. If Martial could be fit for this game then it would be such a big help ahead of Liverpool.

    De Gea
    Dalot-Lindelof-Maguire-Malacia
    Sabitzer-Casemiro
    Antony-Sancho-Garnacho
    Martial (if healthy)/Weghorst

I would much prefer to meet City befor the final.

Rest Rashford and play Sancho. I'd also consider Casemiro on the bench and starting Sabitzer.

Given that Arsenal managed to get through 2 games we'd realistically needed them to drop points in to mount a serious title push, I'd want us to go for this:

Rest Varane, Shaw and Rashford - the rest are probably good to go.

Bonkers how quick the matches are coming...just rest/play/rest/play no time for training these days!

The players will have a huge adrenalin dump after the Wembley win but luckily for EtH he has a few options back in midfield. Home game helps as well.

    De Gea
    Dalot-Lindelof-Maguire-Malacia
    Sabitzer-Casemiro
    Antony-Sancho-Garnacho
    Martial (if healthy)/Weghorst

This looks like a really good line up. The defence is totally refreshed. Casemiro is fairly well rested anyways after his suspension, sabitzer is well rested too and looked great in his cameo.

Sancho needs games for sure and antony too (depending on his health status).

Besides, don't think moyes is giving this one very high priority given the position in the league.

We do need fresh legs for the Liverpool game

People need to read Ten Hag’s open letter to the fans if they think he’s done for this season. He wants a Quadruple or to die trying. What a bloke.

We will go back to work today, with full focus now on preparing to face West Ham in the FA Cup on Wednesday evening.

There will be no complacency in our desire to return this club back to where we want to be. Please know that you are vital to what we want to achieve and take yesterday as proof of what can happen when we are all United together.

    Team should be...

    ------------------De Gea------------------
    Dalot--Maguire--Lindelof--Malacia
    -----McTominay----Sabitzer-------
    Antony-------Sancho-------Garnacho
    -----------------Weghorst-----------------

Subs: Heaton, AWB, Varane, Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro, Fred, Fernandes, Rashford

This please. But knowing ETH he'll start Bruno, Rashford, and Casemiro.

a bit annoying that they picked up a big morale boosting win just days before this match against us, they are still shit though - like Leicester.

I wouldn't make too many changes though, rather try to score a few and rest the players rather than subbing them on late and risk a replay. AWB, Malacia to start, maybe Lindelof in for Varane, same midfield or Sabitzer in for Fred and one of Garnacho/Sancho to start.

We can still field a very competitive team while resting our key players here.

    DDG
    Dalot Lindelof Martinez Malacia
    Mctomonay Sabitzer
    Antony Sancho Garnacho
    Weghorst

Rashford Varane Bruno Fred and Shaw are the one's I wouldn't touch as they badly need a rest. Everyone else can play in my opinion without to much fuss.

I may be in minority but I feel we should take this competition seriously. City spurs brighton are the only tricky sides left, maybe Leicester if you want to add them. Great chance to win this one as well and stop city from doing a possible treble if that comes to the case.

Varane and shaw can be rested. Rashford will be a miss but has to be rested. Rest honestly should feature. Fred can also be rested with Sabitzer playing. Sancho can play. Awb can be rested for sunday and let dalot play.

I think that allows enough bodies getting break before the sunday clash. I rather keep the momentum and see where we are in April than throwing away cups. I know getting greedy but I like our club winning trophies.

    I would go:

    De Gea
    Dalot - Lindelof - Martinez - Malacia
    Sabitzer - Casemiro
    Antony - Sancho - Garnacho
    Weghorst

Sancho centrally might be a bit of a risk in terms of the press and defending, but he is supported by Weghorst, who works his socks off.

This is how I’d go as well. Shaw, Varane, Bruno, Fred and Rashford definitely need a rest before the anfield trip. The silver lining of the Casemiro suspension is that we could actually play him during this busy spell without worrying about his fitness. That line up should be good enough and hopefully a comfortable 2 nil win.

You’re definitely not in the minority. It’s a major trophy and we’ve had some heart breaking losses over the years. The 2005 and 2018 final losses along with the 2009 SF loss still bother me to this day. Time to win this great old trophy again.

Wholesale changes required here. The Barca tie combined with the cup final has clearly left the players shattered and we have a huge derby game at the weekend. I still firmly believe we can win the league title as this team has the ability and mentality required. Our manager is absolutely world class also.

    Heaton/Butland
    Dalot/Bissaka - Lindelof - Maguire - Malacia
    McTominay - Sabitzer
    Elanga/Pellistri - Sancho - Garnacho
    Weghorst

Hopefully Martial is back also and is available for 30mins or so

That's still a good enough team to give West Ham problems at home.

We play against the other next Sunday, so I would gamble on this FA Cup game, rest a maximum of player and include them if we need a result, but rest most of them.

    ----------------------------------------------De Gea----------------------------------------------------
    Dalot-------------------------Maguire------------Lindelof---------------------------Malacia
    --------------------------------Mc Tominay------Sabitzer----------------------------------------
    Sancho-----------------------------------Bruno----------------------------------------Garnacho

Wouldn't be too broken up to lose here. Alot of good teams already out but id rank league and europa ahead of fa cup at this point

    DDG

    AWB
    Lindelof
    Martinez
    Shaw

    Casemiro
    McTominay
    Sabitzer

    Fernandes
    Sancho
    Rashford

WH will sit in their 541 and look to play on the counter...sit deep and defend

we have Liverpool on the weekend so Casemiro shouldn't play and neither should Rashy

I would! Literally 4 wins from lifting the cup! Be absolutely elated with a domestic cup double.

Would this game have a replay or decided on the same day.
Replay. Which is why I think Moyes will be perfectly happy to defend and try win it on a counter or at least get a draw so there's another match.

Same. We never won that kind of double either, were close in 1983.

Don't expect a lot of changes. I would guess something like this:

    DDG

    Shaw
    Maguire
    Martinez
    Dalot

    Casemiro
    Fred
    Sabitzer

    Garnacho
    Weghorst
    Sancho

The cup treble should be the target.

Unfortunately, we weren’t thinking long term when we dubbed it “the Mickey Mouse treble” when Liverpool did it.

    I would go:

    De Gea
    Dalot - Lindelof - Martinez - Malacia
    Sabitzer - Casemiro
    Antony - Sancho - Garnacho
    Weghorst

I think Varane will definitely be rested cos he's injury prone and needs to be managed for Liverpool game.
    Probably Fred and Shaw also.

Lots of players like playing every 3 or 4 days cos it keeps you very sharp.

West Ham should be resting most of their players to prepare for their weekend game. Our second team should do the job just fine.

    I'm quite calm about this

I want to win the FA Cup. A domestic double would be amazing.

But if United lose, there is a silver lining in the fixture list easing up a touch. I'd much prefer to win the Europa League personally and take a title challenge into April.

We should play a strong team. Great chance of winning the FA Cup too. Even if we lose at Anfield on Sunday it would take a catastrophe to fall out of the top 4 in the League so we should be going for it in the cup competitions
