I reckon it could be a decent performance today from Maguire. He's had time out to assess things and get the pressure off, I've got hopes he'll be solid today.

lol, just kidding. It's going to be a complete shitshow

Huh I could've sworn I saw a tweet from the official handle that showed Garnacho starting.

Anyway, we need that aerial dominance today and maybe Maguire's been training well

Lindelof must be injured as not on the bench either.

That front 3 looks horrible but given the Antony and Martial are out it's fair enough. It's a shame Sancho has no form as it doesn't even feel like a miss being out of the side. At this point in time, him coming off the bench to prove a point is probably the best scenario for him and us to be in too.
    Lindeløf is ill.

    Cristiano, Elanga and Mawaya.

Yeah, don't have a good feeling about this one.

If ETH can get a performance out of Maguire, Ronaldo and Elanga…he is the second coming.

Oh, a line-up that most of us don't fancy too much? A guaranteed win for us then. Probably a Maguire header goal at some point too.

Yeh this line up is a bit worrying. Just shows our lack of depth

I guess. . .Hope this is one of those where it works a lot better than it looks. Elands seems an odd choice given how West Ham are likely to set up.

Definitely surprised to see that lineup. Don’t love Elanga getting a start over garnacho or even Sancho although the latter did need to be benched so that he knows he needs to start playing better.

2-1 to us. Eriksen to get on the scoresheet.

Can't use the same eleven every match. Just gotta hope we somehow snatch a, win when we're forced to use the crappy squad players

I guess the Maguire/Ronaldo losing streaks have to end sometime :nervous:

How has it taken a few injuries for it to dawn on some folk that the squad is threadbare in the attacking areas?

Ten Hag isn’t left with any other option than to give Elanga a go on the right, especially given Sancho’s recent form.

If he’s shite then expect that change to be made first.

Amazing how Ronaldo manages to keep his place after meltdowns. Same happened with Ragnick. He never dated sub Ronaldo after he threw his tantrum.

Hopefully that's not the case with Ten Hag and when better options become available he's dropped. Him starting back to back games after his episode has me thinking.

More worried about Elanga / Ronaldo / Rashford than Maguire tbh. I'm sure we'll be fine with Maguire.

Speaks volumes that Sancho was dropped despite Antony not being available.

Need a creative masterclass from Eriksen / Bruno if we are to get anything out of this. Maguire, Ronaldo and Rashford aren't making anything happen at all.

Not the team I'd have gone with but I trust ten Hag. He's obviously done his homework, along with possibly rotating players.

Think with Ronaldo in the team, assuming Elanga is on the right, he can get to the byline and get crosses in. Doesn't work that well when Antony cuts back onto the left.

Time will tell but first and foremost, we need to keep the same intensity, aggression and control of the game. After that, I'm sure our attack will threaten providing they get the right service.
