Elanga and Greenwood deserve to keep their places. Ronaldo likely gets the nod though I would consider Cavani in this spot. We have had a run of winnable games, which we royally screwed up with at Newcastle and Wolves. Can’t afford to drop points here if we still have top 4 in mind.

Will this be the game where we will get a shot on target from one of our corners, not a goal, just a shot on target. Heck I'd settle for not giving up an opportunity from our corner to start with.

West Ham are a good side and we have absolutely got to be the team that has more intensity/desire. Give them a chance and something to hold on to, we will be in trouble.

This will probably be the game that hammers home how poor we really are and how much recent results have flattered to deceive. Who knows. This is United. We put in the occasional good performance and quite often against the better teams so who knows.

Keep it rolling with the same 11.

My only temptation would be Shaw for Telles...but Telles has been pretty good overall. Had a couple of important defensive contributions in the last 20 against Brentford. Whoever plays there will need to switched on to Bowen's off-ball movement.

Elanga can kill Coufal in the air. Same with Ronaldo if he can get himself isolated against either of their full-backs. 14/1 with the bookies for Elanga to score a header, 7/1 for Ronaldo.

The team is so unpredictable. Even in the same match we play badly in 1 half and good in the other half.
I think we'll lose this match, but we could beat them.
    Totally unpredictable.

Got to win this one to keep the league season on track. Lose and it is then a long way back.

They lost to Leeds. We have to beat a team that just lost to Leeds of all teams. Hope Scott is fit, i love watching him play when he plays like yesterday

Need to win this to hopefully start building a bit of momentum & confidence for the rest of the season.

So, this weekend we are playing the hammers, do we have a game the following weekend & if not, why not?

    In before the
"I can't believe we've changed manager but we're still seeing Mcfred on the teamsheet"
"what does Donny need to do to get a game?"

Who plays the 6, out of those 3 I’d say Fred and let Bruno & McT loose at 8’s
We need a 6 and let Fred and McT alternate depending on the opposition. We need a six though.neither Fred or McT can take the ball off the back 4 safely. It’s like giving the other team a set piece!

Behind the settee stuff when Fred’s facing his own goal, McT a bit better at least.

Been obvious for a long time the lack of a real 6 to replace Matic is our biggest issue.

What does Donny need to do to get a game?

It was hard earned victory last time we faced West Ham in PL at Old Trafford, with Moyes' defensive approach back then. Possible that he goes with it again this time.

Get fred out for Matic, and probably sub him in later before Matic has to take his nap.

    De Gea
    Dalot Varane Lindelof Telles
    Matic
    McTominy Bruno
    Greenwood Ronaldo Elanga

Lack of a DM makes us vulnerable at opposition counter attacks and that puts varane and Lindelof at difficult positions to deal with. Otherwise we are fine i think.

I’d like to see Shaw and Matic to start for this game. I feel we are in better control with Matic than McT as DM.
    De Gea
    Dalot Lindelof Varane Shaw
    McT Matic Bruno
    Greenwood CR7 Elanga

McTom is not perfect but he's our best central midfielder by a country mile when the competition is Fred, Matic, and Donny.

I would keep the same side. This is a must win game and we need to hit them hard and set a tempo early on.

Yep. Will the others get time off or will he want to do some work with them?
I read somewhere today that Ralf is giving the euro players a break.

When is this going to be? Will they miss West ham or do you mean as a break?
It's after the West Ham match. It's only a week I think. It's for the countries to get their games in that had to be postponed last break I believe. I think they're all South American.

Elanga picks himself. Tight call between Rashford and Greenwood for the second wing spot. Personally I’d go with Greenwood.

    DDG
    Dalot Lindelof Varane Shaw
    Bruno McT Fred
    Greenwood Ronaldo Elanga

Matic Rashford and Maguire to come on if needed.

I definitely think West Ham will score.

Tentative 2-1 to us but I wouldn’t put money on us winning.

I feel this is going to be unpopular...but then, most of my posts are, so I'll do it anyway!

Ronaldo shouldn't start against West Ham. Has been poor lately. I'd like to see Elanga AMLF, Sancho AMRF and Greenwood given a run-out at CF.

I am also looking forward to seeing a proper CM playing at OT, just unfortunate he'll be in a West Ham shirt

This but a 433. Hope McT will be fit.

No it's not unpopular imo. Sonya might have a go at you though ;)

Looking forward to us getting a corner which leads to a West Ham counter
