Herrera's tackling has improved a lot this season. He was a bit wild early on in the season, but he's been winning the ball back very well.

We look capable of scoring a couple more, but we need to stop giving it away so needlessly.

When he was fit and on top of his game for Athletico, he really showed he is more than just a finisher. He was quality back then for them. Hopefully the more game time, he can near those heights again. All round, a very good player.

We've just got to throw caution to the wind and peg them back like the first 30 minutes. Clearly the fear factor is back at Old Trafford because opponents know we can score on pretty much every attack.

Now if we can just solidify ourselves on setpieces and counterattacks we should be fine.

A lot of great attacks over the right side with some lovely combinations from Rafael, Herrera and Rooney. Di Maria vanished a bit after the first 20 minutes but him and Shaw also made some good attacks happen over the left.

I hope for a Falcao goal in the second half and maybe one from Januzaj if he gets subbed in.

We've seen crosses, pace and attacking football. Something we missed over the years. LVG knows what to do and I'm pretty sure he will sort the defensive problems, too. But that doesn't overnight!

It was always inevitable that West Ham would score, so we just have to keep attacking to score a few more. 2 won't be enough for the win. Mcnair hasn't made a fool of himself so far, just a couple of forward passes ending up nowhere.

Apart from stupidly conceded goal we've been good. But 2-1 is a tricky result anything can still happen. We need a quick 3rd in the 2nd and then close the shop.

We go forward with purpose nearly every time. Rooney's doing a nice job pulling the strings. Rafael and Shaw add real width.

Aside from DDG's brain fart I think the defense's been solid. Blind and Herrera have been tireless in front of the back 4.

Just need to see this out.

Looking good when we play at speed. Slow it down and we are suspect.

Only concern for me is Blind. Looks very uncomfortable at moment.

I don't reckon the defence has been that bad, it was De Gea's mistake that cost us a goal, not the defence.

Its becoming more obvious with every game that we have to go into games looking to score as many as we can, none of this taking our foot of the gas when leading, we aren't good enough for that.

A good performance, but I am worried now that West Ham have scored. Hopefully we'll score quickly in the 2nd half. The goal conceded was fully down to de Gea I'm afraid, the defence has done well for the most part. McNair is doing well, Rojo has been a bit inconsistent, but has generally done well. Rafael has been brilliant imo, particularly going forward. Shaw has done well, particularly in defence. Blind doing decent, definitely better than against Leicester. Herrera playing very well again. Di Maria has been very poor imo, our worst outfield player. Rooney has been great, easily his best game so far this season. Van Persie is doing well. Falcao has been okay, but hasn't looked great either, he is making good runs though and that's a positive. We should definitely win today and West Ham have been poor tbh, that makes me concerned as to why we haven't scored more tbh. More of the same in the 2nd half, but with an improved performance from di Maria and we should win.

West Ham are clearly overloading the right side of their defence to stop di Maria which is why Rafael has had so much space to run into. This is probably our worst half of the past few (WHU, Leicester, QPR) in terms of final 3rd possession as West Ham have been strategic in their pressing.
