De Gea took out McNair didn't he?Shame we couldn't keep a clean sheet til HT. But some great play so far.might put some money on west ham winning, we are doing shit at the back.Game slowed a bit down after we conceded. Hope we can get back into the second half with an early goal. Let's do this boys.DDG has woken up, good.Little bit of panic creeping up again. LVG needs to compose the team at half time.
Set pieces are a problem especially.You can tell that our midfielders and forwards have very little confidence in our defence, our silky play just stops once the opposing team scores.
I would say Rooney for now. He is working very hard, just like Herrera but the goal would decide it in favor of RooneyHerrera and Rafael have been amazing
Wrong, Rafael by a country mile.Rafael, Herrera & Rooney been excellent for me.I like what I'm seeing from Rooney. Good game from us so far. Di Maria was poor.We're good to watch. Terrifying though.We've played well, the only reason West Ham have anything in this game is unfortunately De Gea made a bad error on a corner, it happens. Really pleased with the attacking play and all around solid look of the midfield and defense, Herrera has been superb and Shaw has done well.Good half, scrappy goal. De Gea should do better there.Sod that hotel, we should make Herrera live with Bryan Robson.We really need to get a few more goals, really nervous about the defence.
Although they did better than expected, a horrible De Gea error cost the goal and not the defenders themselves.That Ander Herrera lad is quite impressive ! reminds me of Scholes a lot
Overall a good first half, there were a couple of mistakes in defense again, but it's an improvement over the last week fiasco.West Ham have the same amount of shots and same amount of shots on target as United despite considerably inferior possession.Brilliant first half bar that one moment of madness.. Herrera and Rafael have been excellent!Decent first half and good that we didn't lose our heads at the first sign of trouble. Disappointed we conceded that goal though. You could see the lads going through the gears before that.
At the moment we are a little like Liverpool last year: defensively poor but can nearly always score. To make the game safe we'll have to blow them away second half.very impressed by McNair.I think the commentator got it spot on. We are exhilarating when we attack but we are still so vulnerable at the back when we defend.I hate Fat Sam and his shithouse tactics. Its basically 10 men behind the ball and kick down everyone then hoof it forward and hope to get a set-piece
Blind has been fine. He's made the odd mistake but he's still settling in to the English league. Likewise Herrera.Need to stay composed in the second half. West Ham are going to be physical and pile bodies in the box. The first 30 mins we were good. But the last 15 has been worrying.

Combining well too. They've got real potential to work together.Goal against was a clear De Gea mistake and now our midfield is creeping a bit too far forward again leaving us vulnerable against the counter. I like what McNair is showing so far though.
Blind is iffy today. Solid on the ball for 90% of the match but 2 mental errors that can easily lead to goals against.Good first half and we look like scoring whenever we want. Quite predictable therefore that we concede from a setpiece after some poor goalkeeping and defending. Just looking a bit lightweight at the back and the general physique of our midfield isn't very imposing either. For me, it seems like players like RVP shouldn't be on the backpost but rather marking the bigger opponents on setpieces.
Seems like we will need at least another goal (or two!) to get the 3 points today. Hopefully the attack turns it on in the second half and we put this to bed.
Ander Herrera and Rafael have been amazing in the right flank. Very impressed by both and what a signing Herrera has turned out to be.We need to just keep doing what we were doing. Blind should stay back to give our defense support when they play the long ball. Hoping Falcao grabs himself a goal second half. LVG should tell players to stop needlessly playing it back and then we don't see Blinds daft pass back shortly after the first goalCan't give away cheap corners. We've got too many midgets in this side.
