Disappointed that it's Rooney in midfield. Would rather di Maria play where Rooney is going to and keep Rooney up front.

Should win this. Think we only need 6 points to confirm a top-4 finish.

There's pretty much no point in inevitably bringing on Di Maria with 30 min left - he's a player that needs to grow into games.

And Moyes didnt have Falcao, di Maria, Mata (just for 3 months) and a goalscoring midfielder like Herrera..I think Balu said it too, LVG doesnt create high goalscoring sides, at home it was 3-0, 3-1n 2-0 etc, he kills of games too much.

I feel like it's a mental thing for him at this point in the season.

Giving him the nod for a start would have done well for his confidence. And Young hasn't necessarily justified his spot these past couple weeks either.

He should be able to, but as a team we seem to slow down during the second half and in particular towards the end of games.

But seriously, I'm not surprised Di Maria is on the bench. LVG seems to have thing where he really sticks with a player once he picks them and once they get dropped they seem to disappear. Look at Mata and Herrera.

With CL next season being pretty much in the pocket already, we should show what we are made of in the next 4 games. Loyalty to fans, determination to win and never giving in at difficult times are the major components of this club's success. I am sure the players will want to prove a point today.

What else could he do? He has moved Blind to LB. It isn't ideal but RvP will likely play better up front that Rooney has lately.

It will be an unpopular opinion but I'd rather Have Rooney as a DM than Herrera. Herrera's trickery and nibbleness would find it easier to create space against a tight defense. Would share miss his combination with Mata
