If Di Maria cannot even get a game vs West Brom, there is no point keeping him here.

Is that a 4-4-2? Where the feck is Di Maria..

Feck sake. Rooney in midfield again. Good to see RVP back though. No Di Maria is a bit shit. So much for all the changes.

    Wait is that a 4-4-2? I'm confused.

McNair aside, I'm relatively pleased. Young and Mata need to justify their inclusions today. McNair has to be more decisive.

McNair for Jones is the only thing I've got wrong.

Good RvP starts. Di Maria on the bench again, well if LvG doesn't even have the balls to start him against West Brom at home after we have lost 2 games in a row, then what the hell was the point in buying him anyway??

Young was horrible against Everton, Di Maria should have been given the start in my opinion.
Agreed. Very disappointed. Di Maria isn't going to do much consistently coming on for the last 25 minutes.

I was hoping Di Maria would start as one of the wide players. Not a fan of RvP starting but it was expected, Herrera at #6 and Rooney at #8 neuters their best attacking qualities, could be a very tough task against a Pulis team.

Rooney back in midfield then, it was to be expected. RVP over Falcao is the right call. Thought Jones would be back, but obviously he isn't fit enough yet. Also Thought Di Maria would be back starting today.

Good side, was hoping di Maria got a start but it should still be a goo, comfortable game as long as we take our chances early.
Good to see rvp back, hopefully he performs and shows he still has it in him to be a good player.

Di Maria should be back in the team really! surely the idea must be to get your 60 million signing into the first team?

Surely this was the occasion to give Di Maria a proper chance.
Also looking forward to having a proper right back next season and not having to see Valencia's name there every single matchday.

for the love of christ...... Rooney who hobbled off against Everton, is now expected a week later to be the engine in midfield....

    ffs Van Gaal. Stubborness again.

McNair shouldn't be starting and Di Maria should be in. Disappointing.
