Who's blaming him? Lots of people are just saying he always gets injured. It's one of the undisputable facts of life that he'll manage 3-4 games then get injured. Knee to the head, pulled hamstring, snapped banjo string.....barely matters anymore. He always gets injured.
He was hesitant and very nearly messed it up when there was a defender with Sarr. He's about as convincing as Pickford.
And in this situation, he did what any defender worth his salt, including Maguire, would do in that situation, which is shield the keeper.

The Bailly injury is on Henderson not Eric.
Bailly attacked the ball as any CB should Henderson was the one who should have been more careful or commanding of his area to instruct Bailly out of the way.Watford look a very good attacking side. We need to get the next goal to give ourselves some breathing space.
Gutted for Bailly. Hope it’s nothing major as he did look like he was struggling and it’s just a precaution.

He played one good game a couple of weeks ago, and lots of posters went into hyperbole mode about him being the "answer" to our defence. I politely reminded people then that it would be folly to rely on a player who has such a horrendous injury record, and he'd be crocked again in a couple of weeks. Lo and behold. At this point, his fault, not his fault, accident, freak occurrence, abduction by aliens, it's almost immaterial. He's always injured.
I'd take a yellow tonight tbh, think lindelof and tuanzebe can keep burnely at bay anyway. The worry is him getting a card against Burnley.

I find his runs in the box and his short one twos are better. His back heel to Mata is the type of thing he does. He is a deadly player in the box and it is why he is regarded like Muller to people because he can read the spaces in the box quite well.
In the midfield he is okay but I feel he goes missing and his passing isnt a wide range as it needs to be.
Henderson put him in a situation with a batshit attempt at claiming the ball.
Just look at his injury record. This wasnt his «fault» but he cant be relied upon. Never has, never will be. Love or hate the man, nobody can deny that injury record- Status
