Not really. When Martial was out & Rashford was alone up top, all the running in the world still made no difference did it? He looked like a headless chicken in fact. Yet when Martial returned, his productivity increased 100x. That was a coincidence? We need better attacking support for our strikers. Ours is abysmal. Berating strikers whilst we have no creativity or support in the final 1/3 doesn't make much sense to me.

The frustration with Martial isn't his lack of ability or his goal stats - rather, it's that considering his undoubted ability, his numbers could (and should) be so much better.

There are too many moments in games where he looks either disinterested or half-asleep.
