Yeah, exactly, superstition. It's a normal part of sport. Not sure why you originally tried to present it as you critically assessing something and having the evidence to back it up.

Slow nervous start. Bailed out by Shaw when Maguire and Matic forgot to communicate. Then we got control, another VAR decision in our favour and we killed them off.

Shaw ended up having one of his best games in a good while. Bruno was outstanding today. Martial and Greenwood with really wonderful goals to boot. Clean sheet. Good day at the office

I think was Luke Shaw's best game in a long, long while, in fact as long as I can remember. His positioning and anticipation of danger were on fire, physically strong against the opposition, and calmly passed out of danger. His defensive side was excellent today.

I didn't want this match to end. Such a good feeling to have again. I know that Watford are second bottom but they are a tough side despite their league position. We had a little bit of the old magic today, with Martial's skillful goal and Greenwood's rocket, plus Bruno's cheeky penalty. We played like we believe again.

watched Motd2 today and was quite impressed with James and how well he linked up with Bruno.

Greenwood done well, Martial needs a rocket up his arse but beautiful finish.

Lindelof has to buck his ideas up as he went to head the ball and frigging well ducked!!! ( Again ) Lucky it hit the arm of Dawson. His passing is becoming shockingly suspect too.

Shaw played well and he can do a very productive link up with Williams when required too.

But for me though, James run a very close MoM performance but Bruno thoroughly deserved it. Bruno can, and will introduce more confidence into James' game and this will prove whether or not he has prem league potential next season. This one is too early for a definite response.

Fred is losing the ball far too often again, granted, he's getting back for it but if he doesn't lose it in the first place, our attacks would be quicker and more efficient.

AWB actually looked like he's improving in an attacking role too.
