Yea I noticed the crowd for a MU vs RM game in preseason had over 109,000 people Cram into the Michigan Stadium couple years back. was amazing to see even just on TV.
That's the one where Marca photo shopped the image to look like there was more white when in reality it was more red.

    Injury update from Ole

“We’ve had a very good training week. Some have been away and have come back okay.

”Alexis has just come back and there is only him who is out, along with Matteo and Antonio. Those three are out.

“We’ll have to check on one or two of the others.”
Sky Sports have just said Rashford is ready to commit to new Man Utd deal after OGS appointment :). Just need De Gea and Herrera to follow suit!

    -------------------De Gea---------------------

    --Young------Smalling----Lindelöf-----Shaw--

    ---------------------McTominay---------------

    ----------------Herrera------Pogba------------

    -----------------------Lingard-------------------

    ------------Rashford---------Martial-------------

    (An absolute must win game)

    I really like this one.

    DDG
    Young Smalling Lindelof Shaw

Matic (replace with Mctominay if the former is unavailable)
    Herrera Pogba

    Lingard Martial
    Rashford

With the new manager bounce mk11 currently in effect and the fact that Watford have leaked a large number of goals against top six sides all season, I'm expecting a 5-0 win.

    Confirmed United squad members

David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant, Diogo Dalot, Ashley Young, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Andreas Pereira, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Fred, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford.

pretty much every game from here on out is almost must win. Imo United need to get 3 points from the chelsea/city game combo and then win the rest of the games. A win tomorrow plus a pool win would put spurs in a spot to really start feeling the pressure. Know Arsenal are Arsenal, but their schedule isn't exactly daunting. Get the 3 points tomorrow and draw even with spurs for 4th prob.

    Really? Cheeky Mother Feckers:lol:

That was the definition of 'inferiority complex' really and Marca is the mouthpiece of RM so that was not surprising at all. I expect the same 'impartiality' & pro Barça headlines from el Mundo Deportivo - who transfers best players to Barcelona for half of the prices spoken about and sells the useless ones for record fees - when we play them.

Take care of our business and let others worry about themselves was always Fergie’s mantra.

    That’s looking healthier.
Like to think we wouldn’t need to risk anyone though.

That’s just embarrassing I never knew this

Tremendous work here by Hornet fan Simon Burnton in the Guardian, trying to get inside Atwell's head before the weekend:

    https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...league-10-things-to-look-out-for-this-weekend

This will be the fourth time this season Stuart Attwell has refereed Manchester United, and the fourth time in history he has refereed Watford. There is nothing coincidental about this: he is probably fairly popular at Old Trafford, having given United a penalty on three of the past four occasions he has officiated their matches. The first time he refereed a Watford game, nearly 11 years ago, he awarded an infamous “ghost goal” to Reading. He has returned to Vicarage Road once since – five years ago. He wasn’t well received and hasn’t been asked back, and last officiated a Watford match in December 2014. As a result it is more than usually important that at key moments on Saturday he must be certain, and he must be right. Any game-changing decision in United’s favour that turns out to have been incorrect will surely prevent him from ever refereeing Watford games again. Will he be able to put this history to the back of his mind?

    At the Hotel

Goalkeepers (3): David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant
Defenders (6): Diogo Dalot, Ashley Young, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw
Midfielders (6): Ander Herrera, Andreas Pereira, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Fred, Paul Pogba
Forwards (5): Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford.

Lindelof's wife recently gave birth so it is possible he stayed at home to be with both and will meet up with the squad at another time.
Bit of a longshot, but I’m gonna be in Berlin for this, 1-do they show 3:00 kickoffs in Germany and 2- is there any good pubs to go to?

It will probably be some kind of diamond with Rashford and Lukaku up front and Lingard behind them.

the international break came at the right time

a good win in this and we reclaim all that momentum

Looks like lindelof will have some compassion leave and will probably miss a bit

Torn between Matic and McTominay. On the one hand we need to play Matic into form, and on the other hand McSauce has been pretty good to warrant a start.
