I think that was said, so that we didn't have to buy players and can save money.
Our net spend in the last 3 transfer windows has been ridiculously low and no one seems to have picked up on this.
Meanwhile, our wage bill remains ridiculously high. It almost seems like an oxymoron, but it that's the situation we are in.

Any actual numbers on this? I thought our spend was low only last summer.

Edit: Just realized that's basically what you are saying. I thought you were saying 3 summers when you meant 3 transfer windows which would include 2 winter windows where we don't spend much anyway.

Think Ole needs to add to his back room staff.

Need a good analysis or whatever they're called. Also need another coach to get them to feel more comfortable in possession.

Need a Matic upgrade stat. He was doing so well before the injury and now meh.

Edit - needs to get De Gea's goal keeping coach to work harder to get Dave to be a bit more well rounded.

Shaw MotM by a mile. Jones close second. Midfield to be made run 40 laps of the pitch as punishment for being shit please

we've been well of the pace since PSG. have a horrid feeling that will be the season's high point. Ole better turn on the hairdryer and point out that the season doesn't end in march

Performances like this is why I'm not too fussed if Pogba leaves .

He's class at his best but just disappears for the majority of the season when he's not happy.

In my opinion the setup hasn't favoured him today. There are many players who require the setup around them to assist them. Today is light years away from the sort of game that helps him shine.

I know...I too like players that can drag themselves into a game and offer something under any circumstances. But Pogba is a valuable asset (understatement) and regardless the whole team's performance and style should be entirely different to what we have seen today.

Again. We are not Burnley. Attacking fast is one thing. Counter attacking and giving away SO much territory is absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable in the long term.

I've named about 10 for someone else but let's go with Coutinho, Kroos, Rabiot, Sandro, Asensio, Kreus, Griezmann (who can play there). We've been waiting two years for Poga's promise to bloom...

You know that Pogba's contributed 25 goals/assists this season from midfield, right? 19 if you take away penalties. Kroos will not do that, neither will Rabiot or Sandro. Asensio and Griezmann are not central midfielders so if you want their contributions it's not in place of Pogba. Coutinho might contribute like that, but his reputation is definitely fading so why replace Pogba with him? They'll probably cost as much if they were to switch clubs.

In essence, your post is absolute bollocks.

I think you'll find this to be a little tricky because Watford are, at their best, a very organised side who have the quality going forward to cause some damage. But you should come through. A fairly unspectacular 2-1 win as you dust off the cobwebs from the international break.
    Oi oi.

They fecked our defense so hard though. Peak Barca that. Only problem it's Watford not Barca.
