Why United line up makes sense
The last time McTominay and Pogba started together in central midfield was the Europa League final in May. As if playing Villarreal again wasn’t enough of a reminder of that rotten night in Gdansk. The selection makes sense, Unai Emery’s side are missing their best striker and are a negative side, United should be good enough to cope without one of Fred and McTominay tonight.
