No matter how grim things are, I love Champions League nights.

Juventus going ahead is good news for us. A draw for us at home vs Young Boys should be enough for Europa.

I am going to settle down with a beer to watch this match and try to enjoy it. My head is now in the same place it was during the Moyesian times. If we lose, nothing will upset me. I will not turn the sound down when Scouse pundits deliver smirking post mortems, I will be civil to my wife and pat my dogs. There will be no self imposed football news curfews. I will not switch stations when fat Scottish presenters deliver smirking post mortems. I am in a safe place now. Nothing can hurt me. I am numb.

I thought the line-ups were due or was @Damien thinking it was nearly 7 O'clock rather than 6 when he did his last update? :D

We are with you. We are all numb. If I want to watch enjoyable football I just watch somebody else.

    Jose trolling 11 :
    Romero

McTomiany ---- Smalling ---- Jones----- Young

    Mata ---- Fellaini ----- Matic----Herrera-----Martial

----- Lukaku (somewhere alone pointing at his feet)

Shame that those who will be there will be so far up Mourinho's arse that the club probably won't notice the empty seats.
You can still go to the game and support the team even if you want Mourinho out. You know that, right?

    Ah.....Stage 4: Apathetic Acceptance

Congratulations on making it to Stage 4!

Next up Stage 5: A new hope (aka False Dawn)

This will bring the joy of Mourinho leaving and hope for the future

Can see the players turning up tonight and getting the win.

Best route to qualify next year might be slipping into the Europa but it's quite a slog so I don't see us winning that. Expecting a R16 appearance then see in you two years.

    Hope this is wrong.

    17:49KEY EVENT
De Gea set to miss Valencia fixture
The understanding is David de Gea won’t play for United tonight. He was not with the squad as they arrived at The Lowry Hotel last night, so it isn’t news that will come as a surprise for those who read the squad line on the MEN yesterday.

Sergio Romero will almost certainly start his second midweek match running.

Too late, I can't change my lineup prediction!

Parejo made 7 key passes and Soler made 8 tackles against Juventus in their last CL game. Keep these 2 quiet and Rodrigo well marked.

Don't tell me he's fallen out with De Gea as well :(

Cant wait for Jose to get on his horse (Fellaini) and ride off into the sunset.

We’re stuck with him now until the end of his contract. He’s not a bad player tbh, but he’s a Jose player and just the kind of player we’ll struggle to get rid of if we bring in a manager with a different ethos.
