Spurs without Son, Maddison, and key defenders. However, it's difficult to be confident here. Spurs go forward so that should help us because I cannot see us playing them off the park, we haven't that in our game...

High line is ideal for Utd, expecting Bruno, Rash and Garnacho to have a time.

Spurs missing sing some Key players so I'm going 0-2. We might scrape a draw if our defence are on form though.

I reckon Martinez will get some minutes. I wonder if Spurs kick off they'll launch the ball into our area to the right post area as they've done a few times before. Nothing short of a win and a comfortable win will do. But, it will probably go that They score, sit deep and we prat about tippy tapping sideways until the last ten minutes when panic sets in and we hope Garnacho can score or we get a penalty. That's how crap it's become these days. No good looking back but this game was always a good game.

Man. United down to 10th in live table currently.

Seems INEOS are just content to let the managerial situation run through to the summer and then make a change but I can't believe Man. United in the actual bottom half of the league will be tolerated for that long.

I think when we (Villa) went to Stamford Bridge and beat Chelsea last April we replaced them in the top half and Potter was sacked the next day so there's always a tipping point for clubs even if they claim they'll back a manager for a few more months.

I actually think you'll beat Spurs. They haven't got a great record at OT in recent times and tomorrow they'll be missing all of Romero, Davies, Bissouma and Son. Don't think Van de Ven will be starting given he was only on the bench last week after two months so that is half their first choice 11 unavailable for a top half away game.

2-1 Man. United as you do tend to pick up wins just when you start slipping well down the league.

Apparently Garnacho said on some stream that Martinez was starting

With Spurs, West Ham and Villa coming up in the league very soon…now would be the perfect time to stop stinking the place out and find some form.

    C’mon United 2024

There might be some leaks later this afternoon in terms of which players could return

Will the first two even make the bench?

Who knows which Utd will show up.
Gernacho on the right, Rashford left and Hojilund through the centre should be enough, but I’ll probably eat my words and ETH will get sacked tomorrow.

I have grown increasingly confident over time, especially with the news some players might be back, while they have lost some. I think we are going to smash them, with Hojlund scoring a brace.

    3:1.

If we win, at least we've a small chance of Top 4.
If Spurs win, it's definitely gone.

If we assume Top 3 will definitely be City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Then it's Spurs, Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea, us scrapping it out.

Despite the bad season, I think we'll finish strongly with our players back from injury.

Spurs comfortable win or United get a smash and grab 1-0 with a McT goal in injury time.
I think we go behind early and struggle to get back in the game. We don’t like teams pressing us and Spurs do that very well.

It's obviously a must win, but even then Im alarmed at how far behind spurs we are even with a win. We really have been awful this season.

This Spurs team don't tend to sit deep. They play a very high line even when they were down to 10 men against Chelsea. It was very entertaining to watch. We could get a lot of joy against them.

I’m just intrigued to see what we finally look like at full strength and full fitness. Just another few weeks….
Exactly, it’s pointless worrying to much about our league position and performances until then now. Get a fully fit first 11 and bench together then we can see if we start to move in the right direction.

If they have seen our Villa game they'll know to what to do when they go ahead by one or two goals. It might be their one game they go against their ethos of playing the same way at all times.

Feels like one of those crucial games where if we can't beat Spurs at home then any chance of top 4 or remote CL top 5 is gone. We don't have what it takes to beat teams around us and if we do start beating better teams it will be too late and key players have been out too long.

Would be nice to actually get the lead and keep it rather than shit our pants at a top 10 side then try to recover once the damage is done.

I've got a good feeling about this. If we have more or less the Villa lineup, I can see us scoring the 3+ goals we'll need to beat them.

Having said that, Romero likely being back for them makes me a little anxious. We have enough trouble scoring goals when teams don't field two goalkeepers.

    Haha.
ETH won't be sacked yet. He'd need to lose a lot of games in succession.
ETH has a knack of losing 1-2 games (on the verge of a sack), then winning 1-2 games.
Then losing 1-2 games again (on the verge of sack), then winning 1-2 games.

Under this manager, I don't see us doing anything special. It was an experiment that didn't turn out well and in the Summer, we should get a new manager.

Um yeah. Could be anything. Be nice if we could look arsed from the first minute though instead of having to concede before we realise it's kicked off.

ETH fate could already be decided but it feels like he’s not going anywhere until the INEOS thing is sorted. For all we know Potter has been the chosen one as soon as INEOS were seriously bidding for the club.
