Feck knows what'll happen here. I think we might win... But then I also think they could batter us 3-0 or something

    Probably be a draw then

Amad's illness was so unfortunate. I really wanted him to put on a show against Wigan resulting in him winning a run in the team alongside Mainoo and Garnacho. Now, he's even less likely to get game time because Garnacho is making the RW spot his own, and he's not going to replace Rashford or Bruno on the left or centrally.

Spurs essentially being a better version of Bielsa's Leeds should give us a chance here.

Just go and lose 3-4 in one of the games of the season. I’d honestly rather an entertaining loss than a shitshow 0-0 at this point.

We’re actually a good match for Spurs. We have pace on the counter and have players that need a lot of chances to score. Play the right way and Spurs will give you those chances.

Can’t see any of that playing out. Can see us losing 0-2 through being too cagey, making a couple of key mistakes, and end up getting embarrassed.

Can’t see Spurs winning this without Son Maddison Bissouma….

    Utd 2-1

Hope we don't play Mc Tominay as a first striker (as usual) but Eriksen in midfield instead as we would need better passer in midfield to counter them.

I expect a similar game as the Villa one, with a team that will come to press and impose the rythm.

Hope our wingers can effectively hurt them.

I also hope that we will have one or two players back in the team

    -----------------------------------------------Onana------------------------------------------------
    Wan Bissaka----------------Varane----------Evans------------------------------Shaw
    -----------------------------------------------Mainoo-----------------------------------------------
    Garnacho--------------------Eriksen----------Bruno-------------------------Rashford

If you want to play a drinking game that you might not survive: take a shot of a spirit for every time the camera pans to Jim grimacing.

    Has to be:
    Onana
AWB - Varane - Martinez (fit right?) - Dalot
    Mainoo
    Bruno - Eriksen?
    Garnacho - Hojlund - Rashford

    2-1 United.

I wouldn't be against seeing us go 4-4-2 to be honest.

    Onana
    Dalot - Varane - Martinez - Shaw
    Amad - Mainoo - Bruno - Garnacho
    Rashford - Hojlund

Could go either way, their high line plays into one of the only things we're good at but on the flipside we've been awful against anyone half decent.

Either a draw or a loss this one. Well start with McT in mid which would mean Spurs already have an upper hand in the midfield. Add Rashfords inability to run at all this season I dont see how we will exploit the spaces they leave

Midfield will be so critical in this one once again. Zero clue how it will turn out. As a few have said, we could win this but we are just as likely to get hammered. Depends on which Tottenham turns up.

I've been supporting this club long enough to know there's a 99 percent chance there will be a long shot of him on TV looking grim & worried when Spurs bang in their 3rd goal without reply with Peter Drury going "penny for his thoughts

    Been supporting us since 2013?

As ever, we'll play well enough but not create enough, heroically contrive to miss what we do create, concede with our first attack, panic chasing the game, remove a performing Mainoo for McTominay, boo the team off and win seven nil.

Though one of those may be a miscalculation.

    And Werner will score.

Could see him at least getting an assist,so want Wheeler to be right about Martinez targeting this game for return, however no one else saying it so doubt there is any truth.

'as ever, we'll play well enough'. Really, when did we last play well? Our standards are so low. A few bits of possession play and the odd good move seem to be the standard now. We have been dire nearly all season. A key part of playing well is also not being constantly carved open and creating some good chances.

Didn't realize Son was missing for this?

That's like us missing...well, no, we don't have any players as good as him, so

All about the effort, if we are up for this we should beat them comfortably; if its a toys out of the pram day then we are fecked.

    4v1 United.

Ange will come with their arrogant high line and we will punish them. Everyone knows to play a low block against United.

Play this front 6 and leave McTom on the bench.

    Rashford - Hojlund - Garnacho
    Eriksen - Mainoo - Bruno
