Last time we scored more than one goal in a game against Spurs was three years ago. We've played six games since then and all but one have resulted in the away team not scoring.

As usual Jose will have tactics to concede the space and play defensive game. If we become overly defensive, then chances are one of ours will lose concentration and make mistake and then we will concede. Mistakes are bound to happen but Jose tend to be furious over any single mistake.

Would be interesting to see what would be Jose's reaction if one of Matic or Lukaku made a blatant mistake.
Doubt it Love Matic but WTH was he doing for the West Brom goal hardly got a mention..... certainly not from Jose. imagine that was Shaw, Martial or Jones....

What's the chance of Jose playing both Sanchez and Martial ?

I just don't want Martial to leave us this summer. Sadly....

    1. Don't conceed an early goal
    2. Be prepared for the Spurs press and deal with it with calmness. And press them too.
    3. Do not lose the midfield battle. I repeat, do not lose the midfield battle.
    4. Take care of Eriksen
    5. Ensure that every single United player comes to the party especially our big guns (Pogba, Sanchez, Lukaku, Matic)

If we do those 5, we will win.

    But will we do them?

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Jones Young
    Matic
    Lingard Pogba
    Rashford Lukaku Sanchez
Not sure how I feel about this game. Could go all the way.

Think that might be too close to the side we lost against Spurs for Jose's liking (Rashford for Martial being the only change). I think he'll prefer having Herrera in for the midfield battle.

Is this the first time an FA Cup semi final has been played at the home ground of one of the sides playing?

He has made a few mistakes in our box esp in set pieces. Fortunately not many of those cost us goals.

Really depends on how we show up. Our players could easily put in a determined performance and win or just turn up like a bunch of drunks and lose.

Can't say, I fecking hope we make the final because apart from the FA Cup, I can't muster interest for anything else remaining in the season.

I suspect most people here have given Spurs the game before a ball is even kicked.

Number 2 in that list is undoable. Beat Spurs press with calmness - Not going to happen, our defenders are just so poor in it. I will rather ask our defenders to hoof the ball when they press , no point in taking risks.

Smalling and Jones will NOT be starting together. Kane absolutely bullied them both earlier in the season. It was a man v 2 little babies.

    It'll be Smalling and Bailly.

Aye this is what worries me. We really, really struggle against pressing sides. We were woeful with it in our last game v spurs.

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Jones Young
    Matic
    Herrera Pogba
    Lingard Lukaku Sanchez

    Would be my guess.

Dave better start this. Biggest game of the season and we need our best players. If our backup feels hard done by and wants to leave then so be it.

    My heart is racing.
If this goes to penalties, I might not make it guys. :(

We need to watch that early Spurs goal this time, the Kane goal in the league was ridiculous.

I think we can win this if we pick the correct line up, I want to see Martial Lukaku Lingard front 3.

 Clearly a vote of no confidence there.

Don't worry about penalties, guys. We'll have lost long before then.

    Shirts that can be seen
    Left: Valencia
Middle: Darmian, Rojo, Blind, Shaw, Young
    Right: Matic, Fellaini

As far as i'm concerned that doesn't mean they will be involved though. Because i was watching MUTV 10 minutes ago and they showed the dressing room. And the shirts of all of our centre-backs were side by side on the left (after Valencia it goes like Bailly, Lindelof, Jones and Smalling). On the right it was Alexis, Lukaku and someone i can't remember now.

    You are right.

Looks like when we concede too early against a good team, the boys lack the mental capacity to get back into the game. United versus Chelsea at the Bridge last season and United versus Spurs at Wembley this season quickly come to mind.
We ended up not just losing those games but losing them in embarrassing fashion.

What I will like to see today is good old fashioned fighting spirit. If we lose, we must do so with dignity not go out in a whimper.
