The only bright spot in today's game was Januzaj. It looked a lot like last season when he was the only one with aggressiveness and creativity up front.
Young has reverted back into his old days and at this point, I'd rather give Nani some playing time because at least he doesn't do the same thing over and over with the ball and offers more dimensions.
Herrera, worst signing ever.
What makes you say that? I thought he was decent today for his welcome to the pl gameHerrera, worst signing ever.
Don't be ridiculous. It all went downhill when he went off. David May say we need a CB who can come out of defense to get the ball to the midfield quicker.Herrera, worst signing ever.
Yes, my view is based on this one game.Who else had first game?
been saying that since day one - and jones is never going to be a United great either. both need replacingSmalling was terrifyingly bad today, even worse than when he plays fullback.
LoolHerrera, worst signing ever.
Herrera, worst signing ever.
We are like a boxer without a punch. Created nothing defended poorly . some of these players are not big or good enough to play for Manchester United. Sadly SAF left us with our best players aging and no one good enough to fill their boots. Worst squad we have had for a long long time. Sad to watchThose last ditch tackles from Jones tell you we are a really poor defensive side. He got us out of jail.
No creativity. No drive. No pressing.
Scholes saying Rooney was the only one who looked like creating something. Thought Rooney was quite poor other than the goal
Exactly, we need him and 2 CB's.Look what happens when Herrera goes off, no build up through the centre.
We need Vidal and Herrera in the cm NOW!!!!!
Don't agree he dominated the very physical bony and wasn't at fault for either goalSmalling was terrifyingly bad today, even worse than when he plays fullback.
Absolute.....insert whatever name you want hereHerrera, worst signing ever.
Some of the comments in this thread are laughable.
There was never a 'quick fix'.
It seems like when we're actually playing for something our players show their cowardice and just play it out wide. I've never been one to say get rid of player X or Y but it seems like the cowardice can't be beaten out of some players. I'm just sick of seeing players play it outwide and expect januzaj or young to solve our problems. We've seen in pre season that players like rooney and mata can create great things through the middle but they haven't had the chance to create that today with our cowardly passing. I'm gonna stop using the word coward* for today cause I'm sick of that too!
fecking awful. So, so depressing.
If we don't absolutely break the bank after this, I'm at a loss I really am. Vidal, do Maria and a top defender
Yes, my view is based on this one game.
There is nothing worse then seeing people leaving the ground 5 minutesfrom the end when we're chasing the game, twats
he's name is matt hummels and failing that we should have offered rio a one-year deal for safety sakesDon't be ridiculous. It all went downhill when he went off. David May say we need a CB who can come out of defense to get the ball to the midfield quicker.
They pay top dollar,to watch us pretend to be an elite club, they can walk out if they want. There is nothing worse then seeing people leaving the ground 5 minutesfrom the end when we're chasing the game, twats
Many people for some reason liketo ignore the 1 billion the club has had to spend on servicing debts, rather than going back to the team, That is a disgusting, and obscene amount of money used to pay for interest repayments on the cnuts that took us over, but instead of using their money for the takeover, used the clubs
THis!
We'll shoot up the table in the next few hours, expect to see us climbing at least 5 or 6 places
Oh dear !
Gutted. But it was never going to be an overnight job I guess.
The moment Herrera was substituted we lost all cohesion between attack and defence. Fletcher was awful.
But even worse than Fletcher were the defence. It was like three complete strangers playing together for the first time.
If this defeat causes LVG to dip his hand into the transfer market, then it will be worth it. The time for assessing players is over.
On a positive, Januzaj and Nani looked our most dangerous players.
