Lingaard *Michael Owen talking about Lingard and Blackwell.....
My God we've fallen. I must say that as of today, I have extremely low expectations for this season.
We're playing at OT against a mid-bottom of the table team, so it will be more of a RM role, pushing up the field with minimal tracking back. You don't NEED wing backs with a 352, we just opt for it, although not in this game it seems. I do agree though, strange call to put him on the right at all. Will be interesting at least!Lingard at right wing back's a weird one, don't think he looked particularly comfortable there in pre-season. Will be interesting to see how he fairs today.

Yeah?Lingaard *
That's our full strength lineup minus van Persie, Evans, Shaw and Rafael. It's not that weak.
Lingaard *
Swansea are shit though, our defence isn't a tenth as bad as people are making it out to be.
This will be a tough test. Swansea won't play like they usually do, they're playing a lot of balls over the top which is the 3-5-2's main weakness.Swansea are shit though, our defence isn't a tenth as bad as people are making it out to be.
What lineup did you expect? We've around 6 injuries ffs.
Hmmm an all-English backline. When was the last time that happened in the EPL?
I know, I just though it should've been Lingaard just to make the misspelling completeNo.....Lingard! as it Jesse Lingard
And erm Blackwell......as in Blackett.
had cleverley as a sub, didn't realise he was injured

That's pretty exciting to see for a United fan. LVG is going to be a great manager who keeps you to your traditions and what I think makes United a great club - playing players from the area and it's youth system rather than splurging all out like Chelsea and City.
