There is going to be goals, lots of goals. Can see a 4-3 win or something, not a hope we will keep a clean sheet with that defence.Lingard at right wing back's a weird one, don't think he looked particularly comfortable there in pre-season. Will be interesting to see how he fairs today.

Lingard's pretty good going forward, and it seems as if van Gaal expects Swansea to sit back and not take us on. We'll see if he and the staff have made a correct decision regarding how Swansea will set themselves up.Thought Reece James was nailed on to start today. Lingard as a wingback is unexpected, but he has shown his ability to adapt in multiple role this pre-season, so I am not overly concerned.Our lack of quality in the squad, and lack of quality cover is so obviously exposed with this team put out for today's match. LVG can only do with what is at his disposal and the lack of quality in defence means we have to try and out score with a team setup that screams all out attack. We need defenders badly, Evans is good but is a long term crock, Smalling has not proven himself and neither has Phil Jones.To be fair I thought Lingard deserved his chance exactly a year ago. He was wonderful on the preseason last year.It's good that Rafael won't start just around 2 days after his first training session after his injury. Don't want him to pick up another because he's not match fit.Anyone else really excited?! Cannot wait. Shocked about Lingard, not surprised about anyone else though. Hope the two young guys play well. Let's smash them!
