I can only think of one? And in that game he was superb bar that one mistake (granted it was a bad one).
Sadly, this time will be a narrow centre-centric attack again, with Mata, Lingard, Sanchez and Pogba link-up moves at the centre. If Valencia is poor again on the right, and if Young too defensive this time, no width.Hopefully Rashers and Martial get some minutes today.
How many times have you actually seen it doing him for us, where he beats players from the flank? He has good penetration and is more of the playmaker now with us.

He had a pretty poor game against Brighton on the left before the International break. Sanchez was dropped completely that game.
This isn't that controversial of a decision as being made out. If anything, it's Rashford that hasn't had a start at all on the left since his brace against Liverpool.

Rashford has recieved significantly more gametime than Martial since the arrival of Sanchez. Martial was beginning to find form before he was unceremoniously dropped in favour of Jose's shiny new toy, he has a right to feel a little peeved at his omission from the starting lineup lately.
Genuinely concerned that should his lack of gametime continue for the remainder of the season, Martial may just consider his options during pre-season.
