We need creativity, movements and end products. In my book that’s Martial on the left, Lingard in the middle and one of Mata/Sanchez on our right side. Unfortunately I think our manager think differently. Time will tell.

    Leaked team by MEN :

De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Smalling, Young, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Sanchez, Lingard, Lukaku.

Taking it with a pinch of salt but I don't see any reason to bench Bailly here ?

Because it's a home game I'm hoping it's Matic--Pogba rather than some variation of McTominay--Matic--Pogba.

Not a bad team if true. Bailly, if benched, I'd put down to Jose saving him for the cup.

I.e, injury prone coming back from injury, play as few minutes as possible. Every other game, maybe.

If this is true then Pogba really needs to be mentally checked in the game.

    Good, strong starting 11!

I think Lingard and Lukaku are the best interchange of forwards we have up top.

Well,it's nice to see Lindelof get a game....And obviously we don't need to play 3 central midfielders against Swansea at home,so Pogba needs to learn how to play in a midfield 2 in these types of games...But all in all,it's a good, strong team on paper...We really need a big performance from Alexis today...

I dont like pretty much any lineup that doesnt include martial or rashford. Especially against a parked bus, needs one of the two.

Martial and Rashford on the bench, who are they going to come on for?
They usually come on for the other :)

I like to see Mata and Sanchez together, Mata seems to me to be the one that plays best together with Sanchez.

Wow! Didn't expect that. No Fellaini, well, we should prepare anyway after and if he's leaving.

Attacking line-up. Sort of. 4-2-3-1 most likely.

Bailly fitness caution probably, and another good chance for Lindelof. Smalling tend to play well and raise his game with Lindelof or Blind. Smalling's Beast mode today?

    We got this!

Exactly, no width in the line up and no one capable of going past players in 1x1 situations. Strange selection.

Given that Jones was in that "leaked" team, was he injured in the warmup? Not being funny..

Yeah, weve seen this every time. Nothing game til one gets subbed and we start doing something.

Ah, got 9/11. Had Bailly and Rashford to start instead of Lindelof and Lingard. Should be a 3-1 or 4-1 to United.

Really hope Pogba & Sanchez can put a performance in today. Liverpool are fecking up my accas but I'll take it if we do the business today. 4 points clear in 2nd with a game in hand.

The majority of teams playing at OT tend to sit very deep and soak up pressure and aim to hit us on the counter.

Martial and paticularly Rashford thrive on getting in behind the back 4 and using pace to make it happen. That being said the choice to not start Martial or Rashford is a good call as there will be very little soace behind Swansea to get into. Bring them on when its 20mins to go and Swansea aren’t keeping as defensively disciplined than at the start.

Mata, Sanchez and Lingard are much better with the small pockets of space, delicate 1-2s than Rashford and Martial.

    good call JM.

Lineups like these feel like we're betting too much on Sanchez finding form.
