I had got the entire team prediction right and then swapped Herrera for Fellaini after seeing his interview :wenger:

Had Pogba and Fellaini as starters in my line up prediction. The one I got wrong was Mkhitariyan over Mata. I thought Mourinho wanted to protect him a bit and start him in a home game but turns out he is behind Mata at the moment. Weird considering he can do pretty much everything Mata can do and much more. Only two games into the season so I am relaxed.

Hi. Does anyone have a link to a decent stream they can PM me before the game starts? Thanks.

Unlucky Herrera. Didn't expect Pogba to start.

We've paid a fortune for him.
Why the devil would we not start a midfielder who Jose thinks is the best in the World?

Its the 2nd game of the season, so nobody is 100% match fit.
If Pogba really is the best midfielder in the World, his stats (if we were playing football manager), would still be higher than all our other outfield players.

What Jose did say is that he can't play 90 minutes. So maybe 70 minutes...perhaps.

I am genuinely beginning to think that he is only playing Rooney for the all time goal record. I hope he just breaks it over the next few games and then get dropped.
Not a crazy theory. Maybe Jose thinks the quicker Rooney breaks the record, the quicker he can be sold. More realistically I reckon Moyes inserted a 'Rooney must play in at least of 90% of Utd's games when fit' clause in that moronic 5 year contract.

Tbh last game I was bricking it with the lineup, but we played well. José's hoes go again.

Have some commercials on my streams. Had Dulux one few seconds ago. Anyone else has this channel? :)

Hargreaves gets a lot of stick as a pundit but he's been good today. Not much bitterness and speaking truth about Fellaini not being Pogba's right partner and Mata not being the answer to the right side.

How has Austin been for Southampton btw? Can't remember him doing anything of significance after that winning goal at Old Trafford.

Mourinho is waiting on mata to have a shitty game before starting mkhitaryan regularly, but once he starts he won't get benched again and mata will be mainly a europa league player, and you can quote me on that.

We have a super powerful squad now, with a top class manager.
Why should we lose to Southampton, at home?
Well it's a possibility and they won here the last two years. Wasn't entirely serious but you never know.

Good team, but it'd have been nice to see Mkhitaryan start. He only came on for a couple of minutes against Leicester, then played more minutes at Bournemouth, so Mourinho is obviously easing him into the starting eleven. I'm sure there's a good reason for that.

As for the midfield - I'm obviously delighted to see Pogba start. Fellaini played very well last week and deserves to keep his place in the starting eleven, but I feel he's not really the best partner for Pogba in midfield.

I'm curious to see Herrera in the same deeper role next to Pogba. Schneiderlin should get a chance to impress as well.

Creates a predicament though. Rooney always plays best when the pressure is on. If he then plays well to break the record and José drops him the media will call for Mou's head.

Because our midfield played very well last week and Pogba hasn't been training that long with us. Not out of the question he wouldn't start.

That's his only goal for them so far, he's been injured quite a bit for the remainder of that season.

Yeah watching him and seriously considering changing over to a stream.

Probably letting Mkhi get comfortable but Mata is a quality player as well so it's not as if Mkhi has a guaranteed spot.

Micki's not that fast is he?
He is very quick. Not a long distance runner but more of a Messi type of running and pace. Really quick over the first few yards and really agile, and runs with the ball very quickly so he can look faster but if it's a loose ball and a straight sprint then he isn't anything special. But acceleration and those first few yards are the biggest thing in football and that's where he excels.

Some guy on fantasy football in my office asked me if I thought Pogba would start and I said no. I think I'm avoiding him the rest of today...

Fecking hell I had Pogba in my starting lineup and then I changed it last minute thinking most of you were probably right about Jose bringing him on as a sub instead. Feck.

I don't know what Mourinho sees in Fellaini, particularly in that position. Ok, we won vs Bournemouth but they were pretty shit.
Also Pogba's way too deep. But let's see.

We're well set-up for the season with our players and managers but shouldn't ever take a team like Southampton for granted, even at home. It's too early in the season and there have been too many changes to expect fluency in our play. Hopefully we take some risks, create some chaos, and make the most of it while playing it safe with our defending. If the stars do their jobs, we'll win handily. But nothing is a given.

Just saw that Jose interview where he said United job is top of his career. Who is that foxy lady interviewing him?

Wanted to do it too but ran out of time, lucky me.

Always with the questions about Rooney's position. His best position is on the bench ffs.

Sky build up show has been brill... and not just because of Rachel

Wow I was thinking Fellaini would be out for Herrera but that's a very interesting 11. Let's see how they play now.

I can't remember the last time I was this pumped for a game. Seeing Rooney in the line-up instead of Lingard, Rashford or Micky is the only negative. If he stinks out the Old Trafford debut of the new boys I'm going to have a meltdown.
