I'm surprised to see people think Rooney had a bad game. I thought he's played pretty well. His touch has been good and some of passes he's picked out have been pretty class. Him and Martial to me have been our best players. A Rashford goal would really be the cherry on top today.

All those saying Rashford hasn't played well, what the hell are you smoking?

He's ripping the right hand side up, making great runs and linking well with Rooney and Young. Okay he hasn't finished some chances but to jump to the conclusion that he's not playing well?

I suggest you watch the game and re-evaluate what it means to not play well I.e. Reading's defence.

There's a big difference between saying he should score (which I've agreed with several times) and saying that not scoring equals he's been crap.

Not scoring does not equate to a bad performance, a player (yes, even a striker) is able to contribute more to a team than goals alone and it's possible to play well even when not scoring.
