I wasn't confident against Bornemouth but I think we'll win 2-0. Herrera should be back for this game so the passing game will improve definitely.

Let's see... We're at home, Schneiderlin and Jones should be back... Norwich aren't in the best of form...

So 0-0 it is, with us having 17 shots and 1 on target. Norwich will hit the underside of the crossbar and force a couple of world class saves out of DDG.

LVG will praise the attitude of the players, and say we just need to take our chances having dominated the majority of the game.

I want us to wait till the end of the season before sacking him but if we can't win this, I will be calling for his head immediately.

The sad moment when most United fans are predicting 0-0 against Norwich at home :(. It is becoming such a norm now, even if we beat Norwich I can see us losing the next game.

Rooney, Herrera, Schneiderlin, Jones, Darmian and Smalling are all I'm pretty sure close to being back (either on the bench or for starting fitness like Schneiderlin and Jones probably, seeing as they were on the bench last week). Best case scenario I'd guess:

    De Gea
    Varela Jones Blind CBJ
    Carrick Schneiderlin
    Young Mata Memphis
    Martial
Which isn't a bad lineup really, with Rooney, Herrera, Smalling and Darmian being on the bench.

Norwich really raised their game against both Arsenal and Everton. You could argue they deserved more than just a point from both games, particularly their second half performancea. However if we can bag an early goal (you never know) we should run out comfortable winners.

It's Norwich at home and we're counting on Smalling being fit to get anything out of this game :lol::nervous::(

Rarely does a club of Man Utd's size lose 3 times in a row. I'm betting on Man Utd to win.

Our defence in our last game was probably as weak as anything fielded in the PL. Just because its us doesnt mean our academy players are better than Norwich or indeed Coventry's first choices!

that last game was probably the weakest defence we've fielded in a Premier league game.

Add Smalling/Jones/Schneiderlin and it's tonnes stronger

We hadn't gone 5 games without a win since 1920, or something nutty like that. Losing 3 on the bounce isn't completely impossible.

didn't we do that just last season, too? chelsea everton away, then west brom home.

Reading this thread is really heartbreaking. The negativity before a game like this? this is so wrong, This is not us and the responsible for making most of us feel this way must be out of this club.

    We will beat them comfortably.

    De Gea
    Varela--Jones--Blind--BoJack
    Schneiderlin--Carrick
    Young--Mata--Memphis
    Martial

Not ideal to play Jackson there again especially as Redmond will probably start but it's that or McNair at the back and Blind at LB.

I hope a couple others are back from injury too. Rooney + Herrera possibly on the bench.

This will be Newcastle '13 back again.

    0-1.

The team will know if they lose, Lvg will be on the brink i think if they want they can get him sacked after this game. It wil be a test if Lvg has support of the players and how much do they give for him. Any lack of effort you can say it will be clear he has lost everything, good effort will result in showing he has full teams support.

My take on this is that if a player willfully gives less than 90% effort, then he may need to be removed from the team.
It doesn't matter how much you dislike your team (mates, manager, assistant manager, coaches), when you are on the pitch you must give full effort.
These guys get paid more in 1 week than most of us in a year. They have fans who come to support them.
There simply is no excuse for players to purposely give a sub-standard performance and purposely losing a game.

There are some fans on here, who would give 100% effort if they played for MUFC and they'd to that for free.
It was galling to see our youngsters play in our last game, in the biggest game of their life (an opportunity to play for the first team, for one of the first times in their lives) and they played without passion/energy.

Don't see how we are going to beat Norwich. That's how far my expectations have dropped. Predicted the scoreline against Bournemouth and could see a repeat here.

Bournemouth was an away game, though. We aren't too great in away games. At home we are strong.
A draw or a win is possible.

Get as many players to full health and try to win something for a change or there will be more banner planes than German bombers over OT during WWII ffs six point gap to Leicester f*ckin City... feels like Twilight Zone episode sometimes.

Meh I'm not even gonna bother having any kind of expectation for this. Whatever happens between now and the end of the season happens.

All of a sudden were in a top 4 battle and its a must win match, win this though and get some players back and we could go on a run and go back to challenging for the title, it really is a up and down season. Hopefully Martial will get a goal and raise his confidence.

Arsenal playing City and Leicester have a tricky game away to Everton, Things can be bit right this week if only we win. Oh wait, it's just Norwich fecking city at O.T ffs.

    LvG would probably go for

    De Gea
    Varela Blind Jones Jack
    Fellaini Powell
    Pereira Mata Memphis
    Martial

    :D :D

Rarely does a club the size of Man Utd look so bad so consistently either. Reputation and number of fans don't win football matches any more than possession stats.

I really don't want to be one of the doom-sayers, but I just don't see how we can win a football match bar a moment of brilliance from someone the way we play at the moment.

    ----------De Gea------

    Young-Jones-blind- Jackson

    -----------Carrick-----------

    ------Perreira--Fellaini------

    -Depay-----Martial---Mata-
