The problem is Fellaini but he hasnt played that badly this game considering he is clearly playing to instruction. The problem this game is LVG instructions to Fellaini. As soon as the ball goes wide Fellaini is making a beeline for the box and thats then leaving us vulnerable to a counter because of the gaping hole left behind. Would much rather see Herrera in there but someone else pointed out to me that he is just back from injury.
However you have pointed out our single biggest problem in CM

He has actually been pretty good. He is going forward and I can see him score or get a assist.

The tactics is pass pass pass and no really good attacks. The tactics are really not helping us. I want LvG out. José could be a great possibility now IMO.

Yet he was quite happy to throw Rooney and Smalling straight in, also Young, who according to him didn't come off the bench last week because he had a knock. I think the manager just draws names out of a hat and they will play. One week a goalie won't be pulled out.

The source is right before you, on TV perhaps. It's the way we play, also LvG confirms it every time in the interviews, when he says that we create enough chances, just don't score. While actually we are like 15-th in terms of chances created in the league.
