This is beginning to remind me a lot of the last few games under Moyes.

Lots of huffing and puffing but ultimately a bit predictable in attack. Then getting done through some silly defending by the other team.

This next 45 mins are huge for VG.

Even after investing heavily in the midfield, you guys have nada creativity in there.
You need a schemer who'll keep probing in the final third and unfortunately Mata just isn't that player.

Also surprised Herrera and Schneiderlin don't get a look in - At Least they'd be a lot more dynamic than Fellaini in the middle!

Norwich are so poor, can't string five passes together and yet we are trailing one behind.

LVG needs to go, either now or at the least the end of the season. He is repeating the same mistakes and not learning from them.

I feel like I'm repeating myself from the last few matches, but Fellaini cannot play that position in midfield. He lives way too big gaps to exploit as he goes forward too often and is too slow to get back. Norwich have done us here because of that, and they aren't the first team to do it either.

It's the same old story really though hasn't it? Started off playing well enough, a lot of possession, no creativity and now we're done a goal.

Get this fraud out of here now! A shit philosophy buttressed by clear favouritism - if Herrera needs games to get his rhythm back then why doesn't the same principle apply to Rooney? Starting with Fellaini and a one man midfield?

Its a process, give it a few more weeks and months and you'll get the hang of it.

    Tip: Rooney plays, always
I think I chose Schweinsteiger forgetting he was suspended.

The number of sides that are utterly shit defensively who we've looked completely toothless against... it's not luck, it's not a fecking coincidence. Fellaini up front fecking the attack as usual, long balls never come off even if he does get a flick on, and when the balls on the floor might as well be a man down. Mata slowing everything to a crawl as usual. Rooney looks hopeless.

More embarrassing defending for their goal as well. Jones and Young such hopeless morons. All they had to do was not commit to a tackle and the chance wouldn't have developed. It's Cameron fecking Jerome not Messi.

Been shite as per Mata poor once again along with the rest in fairness to him. Van Gaal out get Jose in

Same as every other game, start out well dont score a goal, keep passing it in useless areas and the opposition score.

Our games have to be rigged

It's almost as if our players are given a script to follow.
Do the high possession, pass-pass football. Then concede a goal.
So many games strictly follow this script, with very little variation.

One of the better performances tbf

    Rooney, Carrick, Blind decent
Mata, Fellaini, Depay and Martial need to wake up. None were bad but have wasted promising openings

I agree. Sadly, that performance, at OT against a bottom 3 side, sees us losing 1-0 without a shot on target. You can't really defend this or support this manager.

Blame the keeper for retarded tactics. Norwich were gonna park the bus and rely on counters all day. Fellaini is playing up-field which leaves the immobile Carrick as the only DM. What do you think happens? Obvious from a mile away.
No, blame the keeper for diving past the ball. I'm not saying it's all his failt we're behind or even close to it, bit you'd expect better from him there.

This is (finally) the right shape, just as it was against Wolfsburg - a proper 4-3-3 with only one deep midfielder. The defence has to be better for the goal though - Smalling and Jones have to get their shit together. It was 2 strikers; deal with it for goodness sake. It's not Fellaini's job to sit deep and protect - him being further up is what makes us considerably better offensively. At least we looked like a chance was possible.

Still rubbish, but it's progress I'd say. Meh.

Spurs going to knock us out of top 4 and Pep to announce he is City bound after we lose at home to Norwich.

I wonder if LVG wrote this in his notebook; "COUNTERATTACK GOAL AGAINST."
This way, he might ask Giggs what the hell is a counterattack.

Started with some zip but nothing really threatening, then as we often do we ran out of ideas after 25 minutes or so. This 4-1-5 formation is leaving us exposed in midfield and it's already cost us a goal.

in defense and in attack players are ball watching. wheres the desire to win?

Yeah, we try for a bit, nothing happens and then we go to shit. The atmosphere is very tense too, I'm almost getting to the same stage I was before Moyes' last game at Everton where I'm expecting the absolute worst from the team and hoping for something to click.
