“The club has moved on from the Liverpool game”

    Thats a relief.

Yes, because what exactly do you propose we accomplish if the staff and players spend an enormous amount of time dwelling on it and feeling sorry for themselves?

Ronaldo was sent off twice against City in his first spell at United.

You know when you got to change formation every week your manager is so done.

Such a waste of time continuing with Ole

It almost feels like he takes a gamble/stab in the dark with tactics. I do wonder how many of his tactical triumphs over Pep were actually intentional

Better shape? Better tactics? Less space between the lines, I fecking hope they are still dwelling on it and that the side has been drilled all week to learn from the mistakes in every single part of our play that day. Last thing I want to see today is a scoreline that reads 0-3 or worse by half time because we simply considered it a "blip".
Let's be honest, it didn't really look like it away at Atalanta.

We've played with a back three a few times against these lot. Beat them twice using it. Feck it, I'm going for a win. 3-1

Pretty much every team in the top 10 have conceded less than we have and there is the problem....stating the obvious

We beat City 2-0 the last time we played them. Seriously, am I living in a twilight realm where everyone has lost their memory?

What the hell has a game six months ago got to do with anything? So setting the team up with 8 defensive players at home is justified because we won our previous game against city?

The remarkable record City have in early kick-offs
City have failed to score in three of their 10 Premier League games this season, already as many as they had in the whole of 2020-21.
However, they have never failed to score in the 12.30 Saturday kick-off slot since it became a regular fixture in the Premier League in 2016-17 (23 games).

Tactic was the same, we won the game. In fact this is how we've set up each of our 4 wins over City.

Playing differently against this team would be changing tactic for the sake of it, not the other way around.

3-5-2 from now on, it seems.

Basically, f**** all the talented wide players we have from now on.

Why have Sancho providing the width on the right as he's done for Dortmund excellently, when we can make AWB our entire attacking width on that side? Sheeeeeeeeeiiiiiiit.

Just wait for one his Beckham esq crosses onto the noggin of Ronny

Gary Neville says mediocrity is acceptible as long as it's not embarrassment. Jesus christ what a mindset.

Goes to show why we're going nowhere. With the resources available a loss should not be accepted before the game has even kicked off ffs.

City's team looks really nicely balanced. Swap Foden for a Greenwood and it'd be devastating IMO. Wish we would try and build with the wide players on their stronger foot side mentality. Just helps stretch the pitch naturally and it's simpler to play IMO.

Hate seeing his face these days. Just the sight of him annoys me

Is losing against City mediocrity? Many top teams lose agaist them

Underwhelming line up. Eight defensive players out of 11 (including keeper). So we are bound to win
