You must be fed up with mentioning the possibility of sacking Ole now

Not you personally but it seems to be more than the norm these days when talking about Ole.

Just get rid of the bloke, he’s done

I really wanted Ole to succeed. Win a cup atleast. Just for the feel good factor he brought back since The previous managers. Now I just feel bad but the sacking is inevitable. The results when you look at the squad bar McFred is just not acceptable.

So no Cavani and no Rashford? Ronaldo and Greenwood up front? Worrying that given the publicised lack of cohesion between the two

Ole is a lucky manager with 9 lives. I'll bet a tenner he win this one and survive the season. Limping of 4th

It's an interesting match up. Generally you always seem to get the tactics spot on and do them at the Etihad. Their record is alright at Old Trafford but again you got 0-0 off them last season and 2-0 win the previous season. Got a far better record v them under OGS than Arsenal but guess that's just odd nature of football.

Simply though can't see Man. City not scoring at least twice today with how you're generally defending and weaker backline.

I wouldn’t mind starting Lingard if there is no Cavani or Rashford. Greenwood and Ronaldo as a starting two scares me as neither is particularly high in work rate.

McFred again would do my head in. feck me, for just a moment could we try having flair and intelligence with Matic and Donny?

Thought this was this evening so not mentally prepared at all. Keep it tight until Ronaldo inevitably gets his chance to score late. Actually feel we’ve done alright in these games in the past so quietly confident.

Matic against City’s movement would be a disaster. McFred is the right choice amongst the available options.

Any one just see Luke shaws pre game interview just shown on sky? His confidence seems utterly shot.

Supposedly Lindelof has been seen with the squad this morning.

Victor Lindelof spotted with United squad
He looked to be a doubt for the match today but Victor Lindelof has been spotted as part of the United squad leaving the team hotel this morning.
That will serve as a huge boost for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ahead of kick-off given Raphael Varane's absence. Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford could both still miss the match though.
Right, I'm going to stop paying attention to the MEN "Lowry leaks" as they said he wasn't there yesterday so took him out of my lineup. Must be the sixth or seventh time this season they've missed someone only for them to turn up at t he game.

Donny is an attacking midfielder. Utd only have 3 viable central midfielders, Matic, Fred and McTom.

I like Greenwood over Rashhford in that set-up. Are the Utd coaching staff learning from there mistakes? Surely not.

Think if we lose to spectacular goals or really well worked goals. It is if like recently goals have been conceded through sheer incompetence on our part there will be serious criticism from the fans.
Yes I agree. The type of goals concede will be a factor. All 5 Liverpool goals for example were completely avoidable.
