Manchester City have not won any of the last 86 Premier League away games where they've trailed at half-time, last winning in April 1995.

Clattenburg was also the ref that gave Kompany a red card in our game against Israel some 2 weeks ago. Perhaps that influenced his decision.

Kompany should have gone. Overall great response to going behind. Composed and not panicking. Keep it up in 2nd half and don't lose concentration and take chances and we should win. Obvious stuff but that's what we can afford to do now being in lead. Keep it simple.

Jesus, Rooney would have to completely turn around *not* knowing Fellaini is there, yet ignore completely open and completely visible running Valencia who's going into great spot?!

    Ah, hell.

Ahh but he ought to've used the eyes on the back of his head.

Some will bitch at any chance they can get with Rooney. Rooneys angle of his run on the recieve was because he could see Valencia steaming down the right side. The player who could have picked out Fellaini was Herrera because of his body shape and direction of movement. We had 2 choices of direction to go and both were good, it really didnt matter which way they went. Nothing wrong with Rooneys choice at all.

So, so true. But Cafe, you know.

LVG is really starting to get the belief of the players, no doubt about that. I'm so looking forward to this summers transfers, because there is not doubt he knows what we need..especially defensively. Plus with RVP spent and Falcao not working out...another top striker as well

Kompany been subbed off. Hopefully Clattenburg takes that as a sign of a guilt and makes amends in the second half.

Interesting move. Kompany was looking like he'd do a Steven Gerrard though.

Mangala warming up apparently, Doubt it's because of an injury.. He's one foul away from a Red

    Well that flew by.

We need to get Young in crossing positions on his right foot more. That cross to Fellaini gets better and better the more you look at it.

Blind has been a bit ropey defensively but what I like about him at LB is that he is so purposeful with his passing, means that Fellaini and Young can get it in to their feet and just focus on doing something with it.

Man gala coming on for Kompany. Bizarre substitution for city and I'm not complaining even though Kompany would have picked up a red - don't rate Mangala at all.

 Good old Sky,with scouse and that other cnut, not a single mention about Kompany`s tackle...classic.

TBF you can see Kompany holding his thigh just before tackling Blind. Maybe he pulled/tweaked something then.

    Look at this knob:

Was worried there, thought it was gonna be that crudely drawn Paul Scholes with the purple knob again!

Hargreaves is such a bitter cnut. Said he was confident City would win. Now say it wasn't a red.

DO you think potentially we were still considering they would line up 4-4-2 in the days ahead and it perhaps caught us out a bit? We started so slowly compared to the Liverpool game, whereas I thought we'd just employ the same strategy
Not really, I just think we were just asleep, happens sometimes
