Maybe but Shaw has always been good defensively for us and for me better than Blind, while Smalling has always been better with Evans and especially with Rojo.
We aren't moving well enough. Our midfield needs to be more dynamic. I fear that LvG's philosophy of 'stand still and wait for the ball to come to you' won't work in a game like this. We need to make life a lot harder for City when they've got the ball.
